My son's yearly school testing is tuesday & thursday at 9 amm.
Pray he can get up in time ad we can find a way to the test place.

sorry not with you...........get up in time??........set your alarm clock and drag him out of bed if need be

you should find out what the bus routes/schedules are to this destination,phone your local bus depot/authority

Thanks. The buses don't go right there. We are trying to get a ride for Thursday as this morn he woke at 1 p.m. I had a thread awhile agop about his sleeping habits.
We are trying to break them, where he's been going to bed at 4 a.m for months.
An alarm would wake us up, but I doubt he would function well on tests.
We will reschedule.

You gotta make him sleep earlier. I know its tough but excercise some control, you are the mom/boss/I-know-whats-best-for-you person

Lord we agree in prayer that things work out, from getting up early, getting to the test center and acing the test to the glory of your name in Jesus name.

Dear Lord, I pray that this child would get out of bed for the tests. I can't tell if they've been rescheduled or not, but if not I pray that the stress of it all would be on him to get up, and that they would find a ride to get there. Bless this mother, and encourage her. Thank you for her. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

We were supposed to go this morning. I begged my dad for taxi money but we went to sleep at 4:30 this morn and I didn't think he could do so well on that.
But the teacher says if we do not go and take them tomorrow, he will be kicked out of the school.
So-pray!

Thanks. This is too important. Public school is horrible and no principal or school board leader cared.
This is a great homeschool.
The teacher said we would be compensated for the cab money, thank God. My son's birthday is next week, and the money would help me buy him something.

Well, we also got 4 hours of sleep. We have been awake 18 hours already.
We made it though. The cab was 27$ there and 28$ back.
He took it quickly. She said the reading test would be 2 and a half hours but he finished in an hour.
The math part was about 20 minutes, only because he randomly put numbers in. I'm sure its all incorrect but he can't even add without using his fingers anyway.

But its over. Til next year.

Especially thanks for your prayers. I was praying the whole time he was in there. Pray without ceasing. My former pastor once said "pray through". I agree totally. he meant keep praying, and duirng a certain time, you will get the feeling that the prayer has been /is being answered. Its true, happened to me many times.
