Over here you mentioned not getting alerts for a thread



Are you getting alerts for other threads?

You might check up near the top, just under the title. There should be a little box, and it might say "follow" or "unfollow"

You want it to say "unfollow" (that means you're currently following the thread, and you should get alerts)

Please let me know if that fixes it, if you wish

Looking back at the alerts, I got some and not others. I didn't get an alert for this thread in my inbox. The little box at the top of each of the threads I have posted in/on (?) shows "unfollow" just as they should.

Interesting, I can't think of any explanation

That "alerts" page should show when people have replied to you and new posts in threads that you're following

One thing you could try is clicking unfollow on this thread, and maybe restart your browser, then click follow

Then let me know and I'll send you a test message, if you wish ❤️

I've been a little busy, but I think I know what the problem is. Emails from America are often delayed by a day. It wasn't obvious, since they are rarely time sensitive. Anyway, I'm getting notifications, but a little late sometimes. I don't know what causes the delay, but I don't think it is the forum.

I do have a question concerning the Statement of Faith. The notes state “Faith groups and individuals that deny the full, eternal deity of Jesus Christ or His incarnation whereby He, as God, took on human flesh (becoming fully God and fully man in one person), are considered non-Christians at CF. Posts that deny the full, eternal deity of Jesus Christ or His incarnation are considered non-Christian theology and are not allowed in "Christians Only" forums. Discussions in all "Christians Only" forums must be in alignment with Trinitarian beliefs.” Many Messianic Christians and Jews believe in the eternal deity of Jesus Christ and His incarnation as the Messiah but avoid the word “Trinity” all together. The concept is too difficult for our little brains. Jesus is the Messiah, and that is good enough. Am I a non-Christian for this forum?

That's a great question! I notice it just says "Trinitarian beliefs". My feeling is you don't actually have to use the word "Trinity"

But that's just my opinion

If you want to know for sure, you could open a support ticket

Another possibility is to ask the question on the Messianic Judaism forum (be sure to take the poll and make a post that you have read and agree in this thread first:

You must read and agree before posting in this forum. )

It looks like that forum does allow questions. Just don't debate is the big rule
