Testing/going off the pill

How long are you supposed to wait to test? a couple days past your period due?

Also, were any of you on the pill? I am having the most bizzare health month. Did anyone have really strange things happening with their body when they stopped the pill....?

You mean doing a pregnancy test? If so, just go by the day you figure that you're due for your period, if it comes back negative, wait a few days & test again.

If I remember right, my periods stayed fairly regular when I went off the pill...it was only for a few months, I got pregnant like 3 months after I stopped taking the pill.

The only weird stuff that went on was that my cramps came back full force! And I was PMSing alot worse....emotionally, you know.

Funny you mention that since I was totally just PMS with my husband on the phone.... but my period isnt due for another two weeks...

My body was really whacked out when I came off the Pill. I was a regular every 29 days on the Pill and when I got off my cycles were 24 days, 29 days, 24 days, 26 days, 30 days, then pregnant. I was a lot more emotional but I also felt more myself too. And I was so glad to have my labido come back cos the Pill had really knocked it out!

Well I definitely feel wacky but I haven't noticed anything in my libido as of yet ... I'm starting to wonder if I am about to have a period, actually. Which would make a 14 day cycle. I have some spotting. :o

My periods we're regular from the beginning but my cycles has switched to being 30 days long, I had ten 30 day cycles before getting pregnant.

I felt the WAVE of PMS hit me within a week, it was horrible, not to mention the cramps but my periods stayed as light as they we're on the pill.

when I went off the pill I got pregnant that month, so my period didn't come until after my m/c.

Before I went on the pill, my periods were pretty regular. But I tried going off the pill about 2 years ago and my cycles got longer and longer and longer until I finally went back on it. Then I went off the pill last summer and got pregnant that month. Since my miscarriage though, my cycles are getting longer and longer again. Seriously long.
