Testimony Time

I have to praise God for all He is but also what He has been doing in my family's life. God provided a way for my sister in law to live and recieve a liver and she is doing marvelously and as her family member I am so thankful for her precious life being spared from ending prematurely. I am grateful God has protected her even from this day from the horrible pit of depressions. She faced so much yesterday when my baby brother had to tell her that her dad had died in a freak accident while she was in ICU. I am so grateful that God has undergird her and is her comforter and is with her and knows her deepest thoughts and her innermost being and is with her even in way that is deeper and more intimate than we are as family. Thank you God for my sister in law.

Thank you Lord for blessing me with a wonderful and caring husband and delivering a healthy baby boy into our family. We give the glory and the honour to you OH GOD for you are worthy of all the praises!!
When my father passed away I lost faith in God and blamed him for everything going wrong in my life so I turned away from his comfort into the waiting comfort that the world had to offer me.
For years, I was drugging and drinking my life away until I had enough. God was and still is so faithful to me that he loved me even though I had forsaken him.
I met my wonderful husband and was blessed with a gorgeous baby boy. It was the greatest gift God had given to me and for that I strived and made a commitment to Him through Jesus Christ so I was saved again and brought back to him. Our family was saved as Jesus Christ has built a solid foundation within my relationship. I now have a much more deeper understanding and also a more intimate relationship with Him and I glorify his name for he is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.

OMGOODNESS!! I have sooooo many testimonies to share but I'll share the one on how I came to Christ and the one where an evangelist said I'm a prophet.

First things first:

I was born into Catholicism(much love to my Catholic brother and sisters) until the age of 9 (after that, my mom and dad split and you know things were Hell then). Well IMMEDIATELY I sunk into a deep depression and hated almost everyone, except the few friends that I had. I was extremely suicidal. I might want to add that I was at a Baptist church until about the age of 14/15(not so much at 15). Anyways, my daddy (may God save him, and I thank him for trying so hard to give me a happy life) tried everything. Therapists, medications, mental hospital, talking to me, giving me my own room, but nothing helped, at least for very long. Then my friend, Bridget, who doesn't go to my church anymore ironically and is in a physical relationship with her fiancee, invited me to the current church that I attend, which is Pentecostal. Soon after I started coming there I was invited to come to our organizations church camp(which was at the same time a bummer but the best time of my life, yea I know go figure) and I happily accepted. Oh and it's also important to note that I was a bisexual, but never acted on those feelings, thank the Lord in Heaven. Anyways, the very first night of camp there was an invitation to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and I happily obliged wanting to fill that huge void in me that I constantly felt. My life has never been the same since.

Second testimony:

At the end of January of this year on towards the 1st few days of Feb. an evangelist by the name of Ron Marr came to my church(he's an AWESOME man of God who has a healing and prophesy ministry) and he told me on one of the nights(they're all one big night to me) that I would prophesy! Now no one in the entire church(except God, of course) had known that I had been seeking the gift of prophesy ever since I was baptized in the Holy Spirit, but he said that I was to be a prophesier.

But, yea!!! Isn't God just soooo awesome. I thank Him from the bottom of my heart with the knowledge of Christ He has choosen to reveal to an unworthy person such as me.

Thats beautiful! im so glad God placed this into your heart.

How our God is Great! He can to give salvation to people in the final moment.
In last week one men, who drank alcohol and lived on the street, came to our church and received Jesus in his heart. Yeatarday we knew that he had died befor two days. We had given praise to the Lord that he received salvation and now he is on the heaven with Jesus Christ.

Amen and Glory to God for this man coming to know Jesus!! I am going to be blessed and read every testimony here... eventually...

In our Cell Groups (home church during the week) when we recive communion we normally have two or three members give testimony. I have only been called to give my testamony once and I was almost not able to finish. You don't realize what God has done in your life until you begin to speak it.
If you read my bio you will see that I am seperated from my wife. We were having problems and I went to God and she went further into the world.
When we first seperated I was living in my car, working two jobs and unable to see my children unless I picked them up and too them to the park. The with that is, in Yuma it was about 110-120 degrees in the summer time when this was happening.
After 3 months with Jesus, and intense prayer I recieved an apartment, a new job which was a tremendous finnancial blessing and have my children every weekend. Praise God all glory and honor to Him.

That is why my favorite verse is Romans 8:18 this verse was spoken to me in my devotional time and it will forever be in me.

"Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later." NLT

Torah I enjoyed reading your testimony.. post count 151!! I love reading testimonies..

A good friend of mine is also into Messianic teaching.. she has passed on some teaching to me.. I loved the teaching on the jot and tittles.. I learnt alot from that!!

Enjoyed reading your testimony Sweet Revival.. #153 and the following one about your son getting bitten by the spider.. we have lots of the horrible creatures.. white tailed spiders in our home too..
I just love that we can claim healing and power over sickness.. I am only just starting to learn this.. and I have claimed the victory over quite a few things already that for a long time I have just put up with!!

Christ's Passion changed me....


My Testimony

I'm glad I know that I have eternal life because now I
know that I can face life's challenges with a smile. I
fear nothing, for the LORD is on my side!

When I was little, I often felt abandoned by my peers. I
was the one they picked on. During my elementary years, I
had little friends. Eventualy they betrayed me and even
though I did not know it, God was always there for me. As
the Scripture says:

"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.' So we
may say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will
not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 3:5, 6

This was true during my times of need and depression. Now,
in my teen years, it is even more true. God has shown me
through going to Church that it is HE who is worthy to be
praised. When I went to a Teens Encounter Christ retreat,
I saw the LORD's passion for mankind. I saw how HE wants
each of us to know HIM.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten son. That whoshallever believe in HIM will not
perish, but have eternal life" John 3:16 (NLT)

Now I am living a life of trust and devotion. Whatever God
asks me, I do without question. Christ died for our sins
on the Cross so we might have eternal life. The least I
can do for HIM is serve HIM until HE returns. I ask each
of you, accept Jesus today. Life without Christ is in
vain, for we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory
of God. Romans 3:23 (New Life Version says):

For all men have sinned and have missed the shining-
greatness of God.

So repent of your sins today! Turn and cast them upon the
solid rock....Jesus Christ! At the end of this testimony s
information on how to receive Jesus into your life.

I know for sure I am going to Heaven because Jesus died on
the Cross for my sins. I believe this and live according
to the Word of God.

I have posted my testimony on another thread but I'll put it here aswell.
Only because i now attend a pentecostal church( I didnt even know what that was a month ago)
Any way...It was about a month ago now at about this time at this very place (0300 in the morning at work) that i was reading some online bible text and some web sites about Christianity in an attempt to understand my wife,a life long believer because i was very much against the exsistance of God and we had been arguing about it for a long time. Since we met basically. She was becoming more and more spiritually involved with the church and with christian friends and felt jealous and threatened by that. I was behaving very badly.
On one of the web sites there was a prayer or forgiveness and acceptance that said something hummourous like , Look out , once you read this your a christian and theres no going back. So i read it out of curiosity and then i read it again but first let go of my arrogance, humility and pride and read it with as much conviction as a non believer could.( not quite sure why i did that )and an over whelming feeling came over me that surged through my body and i felt like i was underwater. It was then that a soft voice kind of like my own conscious thought but to perfect and wise to be my own came to me and i was given truths about why i felt the way i did. All the negative thouhts about God i had were turned around and answered so perfectly and simply so as that i would have no doubt in my mind as to the origin of the message.
The last thing that God said was this...

"Now I throw you two bricks into the dust, Some would say all you have is two useless bricks but now you can say you have the beginings of building a new home"

Now i know that i have never read or heard that anywhere.
The most amazing proof of Gods exsistance is what has happened to my life as a result of this experience. The capacity i have for love, compassion, forgiveness, patience you name it, is ten-fold what i used to have and there is no way i could have made those changes on my own. And since i started telling people this it has created a "ripple" effect amongst my friends and christian community which has revitalised their faith and relationships too.
Isn't God great!!!
The things that are happening in my life now are amazing and that is the proof of God that i can now not deny for the rest of my life.

Well, I was brought up in a nominally Catholic home. Went to Mass every week, but it didn't really mean much to me, nor my mum really... Went to Catholic schools as well, but never really felt like God was someone who made an impact in my life. In year 8, we had a school mission from the Sion Community... it was great fun, but I still just thought God was out there somewhere, and didn't really do anything, except maybe for really holy people.

At the end of year 10, I visited Lourdes on pilgrimage, and when in the grotto in the evening, I really had a sense that there was something more to this God thing, and wanted to know more, but didn't really know how to go about finding it out. At the beginning of year 11, the Sion Community came back to my school, and I was still in a place of wanting to know more about God...

One lunch time during the Mission week, I went along to "Time Out With God" (a short prayer time run for pupils), and started to think about some of the stuff I'd been hearing... that day, they'd been talking about God the Father, his love for us, our worth, etc... and that really got to me. (To set up my background, my dad left when I was 7, and he doesn't love me... and I was being bullied at school- for the fourth year. I honestly thought I was worthless, and something had to be wrong with me, if my own dad couldn't love me). And for the first time, I REALLY prayed, and said "Well, God if this is true, I want to know, cos that's gonna make a difference to how I live, but I need you to show me" And He did. We had to go to collect these paper hearts with "God's message to us" on them... and mine said "You are beautiful"- which is the complete opposite to all I thought of myself... And at the same time, I was filled with this AMAZING joy, bigger and more fantastic than anything else I'd ever experienced... and I just knew God was real!

And it all went from there... I was invited to the Bradford Oasis, which was a local charismatic Catholic prayer group for young adults... was really freaked out by them, but really attracted at the same time, and over the first year, God brought me into the CCR with a few bangs! And I've neve looked back... and now I work for Sion Community, giving the same missions that helped me to meet God!

my current testimony is that one of my best friends has asked me to be one of her bridesmaids...which makes me really happy, because i was a little hurt that she hadn't asked me when she was talking about all of her bridesmaids and everything...so YAY!!

(also, i've been learning how to drive, and i haven't killed anyone yet! )

My testimony can be found on my website. I'm a theatre nurse manager and I found God in my own operating theatre!!
If you are facing surgery, do read it, it might help to know that the HS hangs around in operating theatres!!
