Theistic Evolutionist. Essentially, those who believe god used evolution to create life on earth.

Rather to develop life on earth.

This should probably be in the Christian area only. I don't want to speak for anyone, but it is easy.

It is as easy as pie for them to answer as it is for you to answer why communion isn't the literal blood and body of Jesus. Assuming you don't believe that, of course. It used to be a common belief but is fading away. If you do believe that than compare it to someone asking how you can believe Jesus is not a literal door, path, lamb, etc. Interpretations of all kinds are so easy to do with any literature. It doesn't seem like a smart way for a god to communicate.

As Thomas Paine, noted a very long time ago in The Age of Reason. "The continually progressive change to which the meaning of words is subject, the want of a universal language which renders translation necessary, the errors to which translations are again subject, the mistakes of copyists and printers, together with the possibility of willful alteration, are of themselves evidences that the human language, whether in speech or in print, cannot be the vehicle of the Word of God. The Word of God exists in something else. "
