*ding* point, round match. What Osama bin Laden did was horrific, wrong, and a crime against humanity. But pretending that we're the completely innocent victim is a crime against common sense and decency.
Where are the 'Death to Kissinger' bumper stickers? Certainly there should be a market for those.

Eh, I will stick to my Bandwagon Patriotism bumper sticker.

1) Panicking will do no good (and in fact, give mileage to the very evils most likely to profit from "terror"). Such is the last kind of response the originators, propagators, and ratings-driven repeaters of such messages deserve.

2) The footage of Bin Laden reportedly shows blooming flowers that are extremely unlikely to be blooming in September, even in the Middle East. They're more likely to have been blooming during or prior to the start of the start of the war (in March). Chances are good that the audio is just as canned.

3) Even if horrible things come to pass tomorrow or any day, our hides should never be so dear as Him. Either we live on and get to witness/fight for Him or we meet our blessed Savior. View the situation through eyes of the Holy Spirit and you'll recognize it as a win-win. :)

Pray for the protection of innocents and the salvation of the lost and continue to do so, no matter what the date. The homosexual, one-world (UN), and hate-God (secular) agendas are far greater threats to the United States today and they're silently, tirelessly advancing while half of America's citizens pee themselves over a video tape.

and hate-God (secular) agenda
That is a very harsh statement. Besides how can you even make it? the majority of the secular people are atheists meaning they don't believe there is a god, thus making it logically impossible to hate him. The secular theists just believe that God is a personal matter and I doubt many if any of them 'hate' God.

You are using loaded language to push your views; you are only going to get people emotionally involved rather than logically involved in the discussion. I think you are trying to make well-defined enemies out of people who really have no quarrel with you.

I don't particularly mind you believe in there being such agendas but to use derogatory name for secular is uneccessarily provoking.

I apologize to you and anyone else who chooses to take offense, Revolutio. The fact remains, however, that there is a hate-God crowd and they're gaining steam. They're considering suing to keep the metal cross at Ground Zero (that was found that way, after the collapse of the towers) out of any 9-11 memorial exhibits. :(

doesn't the holy quran call for peice. i have only studied it a little, but i got the vibe that genocide wasn't something that they considered good. especially with the number of muslims in this country. i was under the impression that killing muslims was a very grave sin to muslims
I took an 8 week course on Islam at Calvary Chapel's Bible Ministry school which was taught by a man who used to be a Muslim since childhood, but was now saved and teaching Christians the truth about Islam.

The Koran teaches the true muslim to kill. Even to kill other muslims. Several passages offer them paradise if they slay the infidal, the Jew, and the people of the Book. Mohammad himself slayed many of his own and re-wrote the Koran twice. Islam is wicked at it's heart, because thier core belief is that God has no son. Since Christ the son of God is the essence of Christianity, they despise us. They also believe that we worship three gods. They do not understand our triune God. They hate us only second to the Jew. The Koran if followed by what it really teaches...teaches that the only assurance of paradise is through Jihad.

We need to just keep on living our lives how we have been... if we live in fear, then the terrorists have achieved their goal -- they are creating terror.
I don't think we should live in fear either. If this occurs they would be acheieving their goal. I fear God.

We have made some changes in certain areas due to 9/11, but there are probably a thousand ways for terrorists to attack us that we cant even think of... That is why we cannot continue to let our government claim our civil liberties while hanging the word terror over our heads. That is why we cannot just let our president create war for unclear reasons at best. We just have to enjoy life, and live like there is no tomorrow as free as we can be.
Some people seem so twisted by hate that they cheered as the towers fell. I do not comprehend this type of hate. It disturbs me when the US decides to go on yet another war or peace enforcement. If peace needs enforcing...

Civil liberties are what makes this country wonderful and vulnerable. I doubt it was fun to be a Muslim in the US after Sept. 11. Some of these people were native born citizens, and guilty of nothing.

In a telivised session of Congress on C-SPAN I watched in horror as the Congress voted to allow the prez complete unaccountability for the war in Afganistan. Our prez did not have to give Congress updates on how the war was going. Neither did he have to relay details of anything that happened after the war. Now someone with that much power could be just as dangerous as people twisted with hate. My ? what in the heck happend to Afghanistan and why is Osama demoted in status. We hear about him less. We hear about Iraq more. Isn't Osama the one who orchestrated the frontal attack on native US soil?

If I can walk in the footsteps of Jesus and submit to the will of God, tomorrow will never end. =)

I am sorry but I don't buy that. No one who believes in any sort of God would hate him/her/it. They would know their lives were in his hands thus it would make no logical sense to hate them.

one word of advise is then maybe you should put it in the title ("Americans only"). otherwise it's fair game.

Or maybe you should actually read the first post of threads.

article is a warning of terrorism AGAINST AMERICA, and I ask for prayer for the protection OF AMERICA

yeah--but then by your reasoning, the threads about Israel and the protection of Israel are exclusive to the Israelis on this board?

see--if you had added something like "my fellow Americans, please pray for the protection of our country" that'd make it clear who you were referring to. But the way you wrote it just rubbed some people the wrong way.
