From what I can tell, the title refers to the game Go. There's also something about another powerful computer 'that can fit on the tip of your finger'. Go is supposedly just as difficult as chess. The 1 - 2 point has to do with the corners and how they drastically change the tactics of the game. Pulled this off of wikiqoute: If Chess is a battle, then Go is war. I'm not sure. I've never heard of, nor played the game.

211 - Self Made Man

C&P'ed: She never sleeps, so what does she do at night? Cameron's surprising secret life is revealed. Plus, history is forever changed when a Terminator is sent back to the wrong time.

I can't wait. There are some nice pics of her in the library with a wheelchair-bound friend (and jelly doughnuts) and Cam confronting John about being out all night. And, depending on whether you like her, some cute/blech pics of John and Riley playing some tonsil hockey....

I don't know anything about this episode. I googled Alpine Fields and got some oil-drilling operation in Alaska...

It looks like the first half of the season is going to be 12 episodes and Alpine fields is now Episode 15... 14 is The Good Wound, 16 is Desert Cantos, and 17 (or 18?) is Ourselves Alone

Did anyone else have any trouble breathing after the awesome episode last night? I did. I had a ton of homework but I couldn't focus on it at all. I just kept thinking about the traitor that was revealed in this ep and how in the world John could possible recover from it...

I didn't see it at all. I had read all this stuff about how the suits at FOX wanted John to have a human girlfriend so I figured Riley was just thrown in so the writers could keep their jobs. I pretty much thought she was a throwaway character that would get killed and make John grow up a little bit... But having the people you love betray you is a much more excellent way of getting John to grow up. John might even administer the final blow.

I should have known when she came on the scene just like Cameron did. What with her coming out of nowhere and immediately wanting to hang out and be best buds.

The question is: Did she come from the future with Jesse or is she just a lonely kid that Jesse is using. Well, either way she's a lonely kid...

At first, I thought it was stupid that she would be from the future but then I got to thinking about some of her actions.

Her weird metaphors. Carots and Apples? Who says that?

Lego Robots? That seems suspicious now too.

Also, the way she eats kinda mimics the way Derek, Jesse, and other future resistance members eat. They make it a point to say that people from the future crave greasy, mass-produced, fast food.

The bear and fish poster.

Her comment, "There are so many mirrors in this world." As opposed to what world? I bet the resistance doesn't carry around mirrors where ever they go...

AND oh my goodness, the whole robbery thing! Maybe Riley left the window open on purpose? Or even gave Jesse the alarm code? (The theory is that Jesse knew the robbers through the fence and may have sent to the house with all the diamonds, cash, credit cards, and pretty purple leather jackets.)

haha Yeah, I missed all that! it's hard to catch details when I watch online...the video stutters a lot on my laptop.

She probably was in on the robbery. That makes sense.

Great episode! One thing I couldn't figure out. Why the Terminator planned on killing the Governor at the Pico Center? What was special about him?

And John going postal on that dude was a great display of his training and upbringing.
It ain't easy being Connor!

Yeah, that ep was kinda wierd. I thought, "there's no way she's going to figure this out in one night..." And... she did... It was kind of anti-climactic. But I guess the point of the ep was to see what goes on in Cam's brain, the term in the 20's was really a subplot... Hopefully, the Gov's role will be expounded in a later episode...

Yah, my wife and I were discussing it earlier tonight on how seemingly pointless that whole episode was to the plot of the story. It's almost like the director wanted to force a 20's style episode but didn't know how to do it.

The final episode was kind of lame. The last few were very odd. I dunno... seems like the writers are losing their edge.

Didn't see any preview. I know 7 episodes have been shot, 2 remaining.

Some spoilers says that a main character will die by the end of the season, we also know that John Henry will escape.
Josh Friedman have understand fan complaints about emo-John, and they will not continue independants episodes, but they'll make serialized ones, as they always wanted to (it was a Fox idea).
