Has anyone been watching this?

Being a big fan of the Terminator movies (although I haven't seen T3 yet). I was both excited and a bit skeptical when I heard about the series. I've watched the first two episodes that aired this past week and I have to say they did not disappoint me. The series stays very true to the movies in both style and emotion. Also a riveting music score adds to the intensity of the show Although it is not the same cast as the movies, I barely noticed as they are excellent in their roles and even in some ways exceed the original cast (particularly Lena Headly as Sarah Connor).

Cool!!! I was wondering about that......also wondered why they were playing the Terminator Movies so much on TV.....I guess to get everybody up to speed in anticipation of the series. I definately wanna watch!!

I think Sarah and John Connor are very well cast. They do look related. They have the same eyes.

I like the two, but although Sarah is beautiful and a very good actress, she's been criticized for being too thin and waife-like. I have to agree. The original Sarah (Linda Hamilton) did a lot of weight training to build up her muscles to appear more tough. This Sarah looks a bit wimpy and too feminine. I think she needs to work out more! BTW, she's Brit just like the Bionic Woman and I think she's mastered an American accent quite well.

Saw a teaser for season two on my local Fox station last week. They're setting it up that Cameron goes bad and turns on John. We'll see if that's true or just a teaser.

I watched the series and really enjoyed it...they have incorporated parts of the films in the stories. There is going to be a series 2 which I am looking forward to. Christian Bale is currently filming Terminator 4 in New Mexico. Due for release next year.

I suspect it was a trick to stop John taking the chip out. Next episode looks interesting, seems to be Cameron's origin story.
