I LOVE photography and am hoping to someday, get my little 'business' off the ground. My roommate, Katarinea, and I started it together a couple years ago, but haven't really had any paying jobs YET. You kinda need true professional skills for that, at least imo, you do. While we haven't had any monetarily profitable photoshoots yet, we have done some pro-bono stuff. Most of it, being her and her fiance. lol

Your photos aren't too bad but what camera are you using. Also you just have to go out and keep shooting and if you like scenery and doing portraits try and get more people interested. You just have to ask friends or family if they need any photos done or ask your college if they need someone to do photos for events to increase your portfolio. Thanks. I use just a simple old Canon PowerShot SX130 IS. I know, it's not a very expensive fancy camera or anything, but it's what I can afford. I have been asking just about everyone I know if they would consider allowing me to do their photographs, but keep getting turned down and 'beaten out' by professionals with high fees. Not sure really why that is, other than the fact that people want someone who truly knows what they're doing and has years of experience to prove it, not really realizing that everyone has to start somewhere.

I see. I started with a Canon Powershot A720 IS and now I'm using a Canon EOS Rebel T3i. Maybe you could ask a professional photographer that you know if you can shadow them around and see what they do or ask them what do I need to improve to get more people to come to me and do photoshoots. That might be a good way to learn and how to improve your photos.
