Today I jumped in the pool with all my clothes on, because my dog saw a lizard running across the pool cover thing and jumped in there first. It was pretty funny afterwards but if he had done that without anyone around he would have definitely drowned

(Fortunately he's never out there without someone else around.)

Ah, liazrds! That reminds me of a story, and I have to share it.

I was talking on the phone to my boyfriend at that time, and I had seen a lizard in the house but hadn't given it much thought. Suddenly, I felt a very odd sensation on my back, and far too late I realized that the lizard had crawled into the gap between my back and my jeans...in other words, the lizard was in my pants!

I'm glad the neighbors didn't decide to drop by just then, because I threw the phone, tried to take off my pants to get the lizard out, and then gracefully tripped over them because they got stuck around my ankles.
