Nope. Had the opportunity to have crocodile chowder once, but passed it up.

Being a housewife was my favorite job - After my husband died - that changed - God is good. God has not failed me or forsaken me.

definitely regret things of the past & definitely wish I would have handled things better - forgave myself and after I asked God to forgive me - have gone on trusting God to help me do better

will have to ask someone the nicest thing I've ever done - I'm told I was nice for putting up with some people - and I am glad so many have put up with me

I heard this in another thread but the question was What's the nicest thing someone ever did for you - name 2 or 3 things if you think of that many at one time.

My folks drove 1000 miles to pull me out of a very bad situation
My Aunt let me live with her for 8 months, and has taken me back for another 2, currently
My Grandpa gave me a job at age 11, in his warehouse
My best college buddy is building me a custom bicycle
My best female friend talked on the phone with me for 5 hours

I have had friends talk with me on the phone for 5 plus hours - Christian friends male and female - Thanks for helping me recall that - it's been wonderful to have such fellowship

a gal I knew gave me a job at her business & when I had to return to the area I'm at now - a gal from church helped me get a new job for a season

my deceased husband did a lot of nice things for me -- can't list them all but he started by being one that showed me a lot of unconditional type love -

You already know Jesus died on the cross for my sins - That can't be topped of course

A teacher in school helped me feel encouraged about singing

Many pastor's wives have shown me favor in the past and helped me use my talents for the Lord

Pastors have encouraged me by asking me to share things with others at church

neighbors have done nice things - one used the snowblower on my driveway last yr - two dif. ones helped w the mower

neighbor lady calls to check on me

I could think of more I am certain of that

Christ, yes, you're right nobody can top that. He made me and he saved me, from a lot farther than 1000 miles, and a lot closer too.

How long does it take to heal after losing a spouse?

I have heard minimum of 3 yrs if it's a spouse - I tend to agree

I have had experience w losing sister, child, and others - The Lord's grace is sufficient and I am not alone in my trials - so many others have suffered this and more -
