I refuse to ride in an elevator.

No! I always mess up trying to step on them, and then I feel like I'm going to fall the whole time. With elevators, I'm afraid to get trapped. In the rare case that I have to use an elevator, my heart pounds and I sweat the whole time. I bull rush out the door when it opens. Sucks for children and elderly riding with me, LOL!

Shinobi on Sega Master System was the bomb, man! I loved that game!!!

I grew up on Sega Genesis and SNES. Sonic the Hedgehog, Looney Toons, Super Mario World, Shinobi. Those were the good old days.

I remember Intelivision!! I played Frogger on it with a buddy. You're right about it not catching on. I feel like Sega was the same thing!! Sega was awesome, but they only sold them at Montgomery Ward and Sears, so it wasn't as popular as NES. I loved Sega! In some ways it was superior to Nintendo. I owned both--the perk for being an only child

I had and have a Vectrex. It was less known about than the Sega Genesis. But the Vectrex is a collectible classic since it is so unique and was technologically ahead of its time compared to the other systems of its time. There were Vectrex enthusiasts who continued to program "home brew" games for it even after it went off the market. Here's an example that I found on YouTube (I don't have these games):

The Sega Genesis had Greatest Heavyweights which is my favorite of all boxing video games. I used to always choose to play as Floyd Patterson. I used to always win using the same punch combo. Here's the game on YouTube:

Seinfeld is pure gold for comedy and satire. I swear it was genius.

X-Files really broke sci fi and conspiracy plots and just story-arching wide open! That show re-booted TV if you ask me. So many shows were inspired from it. I think it offers so much. You're missing a real gem, Riles! A real gem!

Me too ,and I could'nt watch much of it, but I really like Big Bang theory .This is where America wins ,
with shows like that ;clever modern and the actors are hilarious .

probably because Seinfield got there first.

It was basically a formula show.
Take the same formula characters and plug them into a modern setting, and if the actors are good, then you've got a hit.

Shows like "I Love Lucy" and "The Honeymooners" proved the point. Working with a different formula, so did "The Jack Benny Show", "The Carol Bernett Show, "The Dinah Shore Show", etc. All the same formula and all hits.
