um, how about cultists? (oh.. that may be a bit obvious.....) follower of the gods (as in pagan god), summoner?

apostles, disciples, prophets?

Well, cultists wouldn't work because regardless that it's a good idea, this is a Christian-based game (sorry, you probably knew that...) and there shouldn't be cultists following Jesus... sorry...

 

Now, I thought your next idea was good... I might use them... Thanks.

I think if your going to add cultists, they should probably follow a false god or something. I don't agree with Blessed-One in saying that there shoul be cultists following Jesus.

Instead of druids (knowing that the druids from history are always members of cults) there will be something else (I don't know what that something might be, so, any ideas?).

oh... you said the druids are members of cults, but you want to create another similar class right? that was how i read it, so i suggested the name "cultist". Nothing to do with following Jesus!

You may want to think about taking one of the many systems out there and using it instead of driving yourself nuts trying to figure out how to handle combat and such.  The D20 system is the most well known at present and has an "open ended license" or something to that effect.

One of the advantages to using a pre existing system is players are more apt to try something based on something they already know.  Gamers are sometimes reluctant to try a new system as it often requires a lot of work learning new rules.
