Tell a bit about yourself.

Ok so since the Teen forums are back online and there's only a few members so far, I think we should get to know each other a bit.
Please don't give out too much personally identifying information here or anywhere online. Keep it at first name if you give your real name at all. And don't post your email, phone number, or street address. Doing so is unsafe!

I'll start it off. My name is David. I live in Virginia. My dad is a chaplain (military preacher) in the US Army (hence the username tpk... it stands for The Preacher's Kid). I am 18 years old and I love music. Or most of it anyway... I detest country music (no offense) and I only like rap if it is Christian rap. Other music is good as well but I naturally favor christian music. I play guitar regularly at youth group and chapel (church) and i fill in on drums (which is actually my primary/first instrument) when the usual drummer is on tdy (temporary duty assignment).

But most of all I love the Lord and try to live my life for Jesus, although Is stumble just like anyone else. I am a computer-a-holic and enjoy website coding as a side-hobby.

I am planning on persuing a Worship Leadership degree from college (I'm looking at Liberty University at the moment because it's the only one I've found with that option as a major) and possibly a Youth Ministry minor.

Anyway, enough about me. You don't have to post this much. I'm just trying to break the ice.

Hey there, most of you know me but I'll give it a go anyway

My name is Kaitlyn, I'm from eastern Canada, NB to be exact My dad used to be a mechanic in the Army but is now retired. My mom is a stay at home mom/homeschool teacher. I was homeschooled for most of my school career but graduated from public school last year.

I play the flute and spend a lot of time volunteering with Air Cadets. I have my glider license and my private pilot license. And will be starting University and my commercial pilots license in the fall.

Im Devon and im 14,I live on the most eastern part of canada(as east as you can go actually) I love being on the computer. A few interests i got is playing zelda or watching star trek. Big fans of both. I do love trying to get out as much as I can and I do try and live life t the fullest as much as possible

sounds good guys. i like Zelda (the super nintendo version is the only one i've played though) and I actually just got through watching some reruns of Star Trek on the SciFi channel. can't say I'm the biggest fan or that I know much about it, but it's entertaining enough.

I'm Caleb from the South Island of New Zealand, also 18 years old.
I'm going to be part time in the Army and studying (Law, Psyc, Classics, History, and Management classes for first year)
I only really feel alive when i'm outside, i love sleeping outside and walking running hunting etc, and i often find myself thinking about me being a spartan/viking/saxon/centurion/samurai/ninja/kung fu master/gladiator etc, and my choice of movies reflect that (haha, others too...i'm not that narrow minded...)

Hi guys I'm Liyasa and I'm from the US. I love to read, and write stories, and occasionally draw stuff (though that usually doesn't go over too well ). I love music in almost any form so long as it's clean, and mostly perferrably it's Christian , but stuff like movie soundtracks are great too. I love how personal God has been in my life this past year especially, and want to get closer to Him.

I dance almost every day. My studio specializes in ballet, but I actually like a more expressive Lyrical/Modern combo better. My favorite ever is that type of dance dancing to Christian music for Jesus. Gotta love that feeling .

I love my HUGE family a whole lot!

I am a wierd person. I can't walk by a pencil lying on the ground. It's lonely. I have to pick it up. Otherwise I feel guilty. When my car is low on gas I talk to it and tell it not to give up, we're almost to a gas station. I can not figure out how to whistle, no matter how hard I try. My favorite color is bright. And I am completely mezmerized by shiny objects.

And this smilie cracks me up.

I've been playing drums since I was 10 so 8 years, and guitar since I was about 14, so about 4 years (roughly... maybe closer to 3).

nice...one random question. on the guitar, if your fingers can't reach a certain note or chord or whatever they are for guitarists, what do you do when you have to play it?

well, there are at least two different ways to play each chord for the most part so if you can't get one, you'll probably be able to get the other. The rest is just practice. As you play more often, your fingers remember how far to stretch for each chord.

At least in here it's still Thursday, LOL.. I'll work on Saturday and go to a beach in Helsinki afterwords. On Sunday I planned to go to town again and then go to the mass...

it's thursday here too but I'm going to try out a ballroom dancing class with one of my guy friends. It'll be tons of fun. and I might go visit my friend Amanda. She's a staff member @ a boy scout camp right now, so she'll need some serious girl time!
