Well,things have changed,I'm Interning now,not sure about Bible College,or even if I'm going now.I've made a full comitment to my Pentecostel church and I haven't looked back.And now I'm a Mac Tech for the extra money.lol

hello, everyone.
i'm new here, (well, kinda, i'm finally finding the time to come on again now that my final exams are over), and my name is katie. like my username suggests, i play the bass guitar and have been for the past year. i am currently playing with a band called "zodiac" (not that anyone here would recognize that name haha we haven't gotten around to playing any gigs...yet), and we play a lot of different things, but if we went in a category it'd be kinda a space rock sound (like pink floyd). i love music, although i haven't listened to a ton of different artists. my favorite bands are skillet, red, decyfer down, the goo goo dolls, creed, and nickelback, to name a few. besides playing the bass, i enjoy rock climbing and climb about once a week at an indoor gym nearby. i want to try to climb outside eventually but it's kinda boiling lava hot for that in the summer here in arizona. when i'm not doing one of those two things, i'm working at a therapeutic riding stable that helps children with mental and physical disabilities so that they can ride horses. i am a jeep girl and enjoy offloading here in the southwest with my family. i have yet to take my "baby", a 2001 cherokee set up for going off road.
when it comes to my walk with Christ, i was born to Christian and raised in the church. we left the church for awhile while i was goring up for various reasons that had more to do with "church politics" rather than because of a falling out of faith. we recently started going to church again (and by recently, i mean about two years ago. so maybe not so recent. but not ancient history, either.) i was baptized last summer and fully devoted my life to Christ. my favorite Bible verse, which i have considered getting as a tattoo when i'm old enough is 2 corinthians 1:3-4, "praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." this verse is very dear to me because it feel it gives purpose to the hardships i have been through.
wow. i really did not know i had that much to say about myself. oh well. i'm looking to make friends here, so if you'd like to talk or anything, send me a message!

My name is Claudia, though more commonly referred to by my nickname 'Alee.' I am thirteen years old and live in Auckland, New Zealand. I am a baptized christian with a love for The Lord, and though I make many mistakes and stumble just like anyone else, I strive to improve.
I'm also home-schooled. I was pulled out of regular school last year when I became suicidal due to bullying. Now that I think about it I wonder how I could have even thought of taking my own life - but when you're in that state of mind there is no light at the end of the tunnel. I'm glad that my grandmother decided to put aside her wishes and home-school me. My parents agreed to it as well.
Anyhow I have many passions and hobbies. My life goal is to go to University and major in Ornithology, as I love birds and nature. I also aspire to be an author, and have been writing many stories since the age of six. Ah! And how can I forget my darling 'baby', my cat Fifi? I'm also a sucker for cats! ='D

Onto my faith, it's been quite rocky. When I was ten I became atheist and turned away from Jesus for six months, trying out different religions and such. I can't say I'm proud of that part of my life. It was an exceptionally tough time for me - however the Lord accepted me and loved me just as it was when I came back to him, and my love for Christ only grew stronger after that.
