Making sexual purity part of their political "brand" sure keeps coming back to bite Republicans in the heiny.
And your proof of that is ... National Inquirer? What's tenuous about it? Cruz talks the Christian talk, but he seems decidedly not to walk the Christian walk.
I always figured that Ted Cruz's Bible thumping was just an act, especially since he showed no remorse or compassion for the people hurt when he refused to raise the debt ceiling.
What's tenuous about it? Cruz talks the Christian talk, but he seems decidedly not to walk the Christian walk.
look at his demonstrated treatment of the disadvantaged. When you accuse someone who says they are genuinely walking the Christian walk, and you say that that ted Cruz is is decidedly not, give and example. That is something that makes what you say worth saying.
I think you are wrong. I believe Ted Cruz was so convicted that raising the debt needed to stop at that point.
But as we have seen the debt keeps being raised as if there is no end in sight as to how much we can borrow from China, Japan, and Germany. Any country dumb enough to loan the US money to cover our loan payments is taking a very risky chance
Ironically, personal debt never works that way.Ironically, Ted's plan to not raise the debt ceiling and the ensuing default WOULD cause us to be perceived as riskier
Yes! This rag is a slanderous dirt digging make things up to make money piece of trash paper.Ted Cruz an adulterer? LOL Seems like that is his and his wife's business.
That is pretty funny, and I really do not like these National Enquirer type threads.

The church I pastored LITTLE VALLEY CHURCH in Rainbow Valley, AZ, near Buckeye, AZ in 1994. The church was being forced closed by the Maricopa County, AZ board. The road our church was on was just a gravel road and it was graded and maintained by the county. The church had maybe 6 to ten cars on a Sunday morning. But the county demanded the church pave our parking lot because of the dust in the air! The church could not afford the $40,000.00 to pave it. The church could not raise the funds by the time frame to county gave. The church was either to close or fine the pastor and trustees, which left no options, so the church closed.
A day care bought the church, and did not have to pave the parking lot. There was more cars for the day care everyday that the church would have had for a month. That was a clear case of discrimination against a church.
The National Enquirer came in, and interviewed me and took pictures and made a report. Their report was on page 2. The National Inquirer got things so messed up and twisted facts and events. In the end it made me look like a missionary to a foreign land with people so poor they could hardly buy food, let alone have a pastor. This paper is a truth twister and makes their report come out any way they want.
As for Maricopa County, I hope those who did this will someday see the damage they did.
Apparently, it's not true in the least. Multiple women named in the article, including a Trump campaign spokeswoman have categorically denied the accusations. Now, with these high moral ground candidates, the affair thing is more damaging, no question, but I need more evidence to conclude any of this is true.

Editor of Texas Monthly Unleashes on Trump, National Enquirer in Tweetstorm Defending Cruz | The Blaze
Note that @KatrinaPierson isn't just calling this a lie. She's saying, correctly that it's not even plausible: "the absurdity is obvious"
...
So, overall: those of you hyping #CruzSexScandal are pushing a smear against 5 innocent woman. That's pathetic & you should be ashamed.
Because women always deny these things?I would expect the women to deny the allegations, even if the allegations are true.
Noting that typically women readily admit to affairs with well-known politicians. As the editor of Texas Monthly pointed out, the admissions almost always come out quickly. That doesn't seem to be happening here. Just sayin ...If people have enough self motivation to do so, they will deny being involved in an affair, yes.
Not unusual, in the least.
Considering about 50% of men cheat on their wives (and by the way, almost as many wives cheat on their husbands), there is a chance these allegations are true.
We have also seen, these conservative Christian types, that taught their high moral ground, get burned before that they are living a double life.
I have not seen any hard evidence yet, so it may or may not be true. At the end of the day, many politicians have affairs; some discovered, some not discovered and they still are able to do their jobs, just like any CEO or executive is still able to do their job.
Now, with these high moral ground candidates, the affair thing is more damaging, no question, but I need more evidence to conclude any of this is true.
