  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Per Skrippers request, here is a pic of my newest addition (Juan Pablo, or Il Papa), and my oldest son, Diego, at a Dodger game:

Um . . . no, that's not the thread Dave Armstron came to. It was a thread on invincible ignorance.
Yes Dave, I know. The thread I am referring to is one where Jason had direct contact with the person in question.

That was a cool picture Dave!

I owe Skripper for life (okay, maybe not my life, but a lot!) for giving me the chance to meet Jimmy Akin.

They were all very nice guys, and I had some very good fish and chips!
Fish and chips??

With George? Okay, I see. But it is confusing. Because it would lead Jason to believe that the thread Dave took part in with George was on vegetarianism.

Sweet kids artnalex. :)

Enjoyed your pic too Dave. Must be something in the water up there, are you all from the same area?

Marcia

Dave, Jeffrey Lloyd and I all live nearby. Jimmy Akin was in town for a Catholic conference . . . he lives in San Diego.

Fried fish and french fries. When served together, the fries are referred to as "chips" in this part of the country. Fries are also referred to as "chips" in the UK, I believe.

but we do have fries also, it's just that they are thinner and not soaked in fat :D

The pics are all looking really great, the adults aren't so bad but the kiddies win hands down :)

Anyway, since this is a tech thread, can i ask someone who knows more than me (which wouldn't be difficult)..if i were to link to something i would do so lke this http://www.christianforums.com/

other people on the other hand, type the word 'here' or something like that, and it takes them to the webpage..my blog is looking really messy because of the links all over the place..so please could someone advise me of how to avoid the huge web page address thing in my links, thankyou!

God Bless

The only place you can get “fish and chips” here is at Shoney’s and it is really not that good, in fact it’s bad, frozen fish, not fresh and yucky.

Any where else, you will find real seafood.

Jason,

Were you confused?

See, I didn’t think so.

Then they’re not any good are they?

To be honest Shelb, there ar fish and chip shops on many a street corner here, but you have to go out of your way to find on that has really tasty fish and chips that aren't dripping in fat or mushy and pale  ..the best I have had are usually on the coast, fresh caught fish and a smattering of salt and vinegar and deliciously crisp and golden chips :yum: .

Had some great fish and chips last summer at Tenby...cooked by an italian who really knows how to buy fresh fish.

Funnily enough, i don't eat them that frequently..occasionally i drag some out of the freezer as a standby meal if i have been too busy to cook a meal from scratch.

God Bless
