Team Hope - Discussion Thread

Team mates,
Well, after a lot of thought, prayer and contemplation I have decided not to be on the pet rescue team anymore. I need to make facts very clear to you so that none of yopu are confused about it

• When I joined CF 3 yrs ago it was a place for me to relax and unwind....BE being my major relaxing place
• I have been promoted at work and my job responsibilities have increased and I come home really tired
• I reached a stage where I was working on the pet forum at my school / work place.....that was very wrong.
• I want my experience here to be relaxing and not stressful

I will be on the forum till I give complete charge to one of you.

I'm sure it was a tough choice, but I think you made the right choice Renuka. When something that is supposed to be a stress-reliever starts to eat up too much time, then it becomes a source of stress, instead.

With the armory stuff here at CF, there is no way that I could try to fill your shoes. But if I can help out with transitional stuff, I'll be glad to do it.

Renuka, I know you have been under a lot of stress from all sides of life for some time now. Maybe you could take a leave of absents for a time and really have time to sort things out. You have given many years to this project and I know you love the pets. I would be glad to help fill in for you. I have the time. Even if you need 3 months or more. I think you will come to regret leaving all together. You owe yourself more time to reconsider and pet forum owes you that time for the time you have given to them. One of the reasons I have held back from these type of positions is I know my own tendancy to byte off more than I can chew so to speak...

I am glad to help out, but I cannot take on the leadership position...

Hmm...maybe what we should consider is finding a temporary fill-in team leader who will be able to take the job on permanently if Renuka decides she really no longer has the time.

I'm really sorry to see you go you've done sooo much for CFpetRESCUE over the last months

we're really gonna miss you here - but I understand what you're going through....when I come home from work really tired I don't want to spend my time checking on hundreds of pets

maybe you can stay on the team as a normal petRESCUER watching 5-10 pets...or just helping with questions as they arise

hope you find someone to take over the job

I think as suggested by Bfly I will take a break....and will leave GIG and B4G incharge........ I will be available on CF cos I can't survive without all your love care and concern on CF

Thank you for taking my advice. I don't think you will regret it. Either way you will have not made a decision under stress.

Reclaim you life and watch us work awhile. I am sure with your guidance B4G and GiG can carry on. I ask them to please know that I will only give them good advice that will be good for the cf pet forum and not Team Faith. I will be here to help them in anyway they want me to.

Let us all come together now and refuse ourselves any room for I I I I I I I and agree to proceed forward to make this the best cf pet forum it can be and let us all work together to as one group and many pets.

I really think all these titles are not necessary because if you take care of one pet or 600 pets as long as you are doing your best and giving all you have to give what more could anyone expect. It is sorta like the widow in the Bible when she gave her penny, Jesus said, she had given as much or maybe more than anyone else because she gave all she had and the others may have given more but they did not give all they had. So I suggest to everyone "Let us have Scripture to lead us as we make decisions that effect each other and the pets and in a positive and helpful way." Let us be 1 and the pets be many and the CF membership is who we are all working for, we are the servants and you are my brothers and sisters. I would be interested in hearing from each member of cf pet forum and let us have a total group discussion thread as well as our Teams discussion thread. We all can learn from each other. We all bring different idea, cultures, understandings, and ways to the table to share with each other. How can we expect the world to work together when we as a dozen or so and Christians can't even come together to feed and play with a few hundered life/less pets. God bless each one of you and I look forward to you holding me to the standard I have ask each one of you to meet. cffa6/bfly

It's really important to remember, this is a volunteer organization, and we're all here doing this because we want to do it. Let's all do what we can to help each other have fun rescuing and taking care of CF Pets.

Amen to that Raven. We can have fun if we will allow ourselves that freedom. I am sure we can all tell funny things that has happened to us while trying so hard to make everything so perfect. I have set here this morning trying to feed a sss horse feed and ready to use the hammer on the computer because it was crazy. May have to but a new keyboard because I am so smart. haa

Did a check of the first three lists tonight. Fed 2 chickens to a couple of pets who were getting too hungry, and played with several.

Went ahead and checked through list 10, and fed 3 more chickens to pets tonight.
