Ah, the foolish comparison of welfare to slavery is ridiculous and an insult to people that were actually slaves. When you make such comparisons, it's easy to ignore you. This is similar to those people call immigration and interracial couples "white genocide."

No, the foolishness is you thinking that the internal whipping of the soul is any less damaging than the external whipping of the flesh.
The damage done to the social fabric of people on welfare is equal to the damage done to sharecroppers as plantation owners left them with barely enough to subsist. Note that the plantation system did not end after slavery, it only changed forms.
The civil rights movement did not end the racism of the Democratic Party, it only changed form.

You are obviously correct, social welfare programs have lead to increased hunger and have not decreased poverty in this country. Can you demonstrate that with statistical data?

So what are the people to do that have no job to pay for rent or don't make enough to pay for day care and no money for food? Those millions of people.

Some women were house wives and their husbands wither left, became abusive, or succumbed to addiction or prison. Some women got pregnant as teenagers and never held a job before having a child. How are they to make enough money to pay for rent, bills, food and clothing plus day care? Can you imagine that some were not as lucky as others to have a good home to grow up in where they were taken care of until they got a good enough job to leave home and were perhaps on their own with a child at age 17 or 18?

Please provide relevant quoted data that shows African Americans have worse poverty than they experienced in the 1920s, before social welfare programs existed.
You don't want to accept the obvious. Go research it yourself and tell me what you learn.
What I know is that the African American family has disintegrated since minimum wage was implemented and social welfare programs took the place of family.
I blame the same racist, white elites who ran the Democratic Party through Jim Crow and the Civil Rights movement. Their racism is devious and has caused great harm while Black America has followed their pied pipers into a state of dependency. Hence my reference to the Democratic Party running the plantation.

This happens to all people. Extended family help out. The problem is that the racist Democratic Party has destroyed the Black American family unit and caused many to become dependants of the social welfare system.
Look at the strength of the black community before social welfare and the utter implosion that we now see. Blame it on the racist elites of the Democratic Party.

Blacks also lived in extreme poverty in the rural south and in the slums. Some children not having shoes until they were school age. Some being completely malnourished in near third world conditions. Like I said, some are not fortunate enough to have families to take them in being foster children.orphans, and kicked out of the home at age 17 or 18 many times already with children. What are they to do in this perfect welfare free world? Beg on the streets for pennies? Also it is not just black people on welfare. White people also drew on the welfare system a great deal, it's just not stereotyped.

All people of any ethnicity face the same problems. The Black family was once very strong and trusting fully in God. Sadly, with welfare and minimum wage the State has usurped both family and faith as it keeps people in bondage like a dealer stringing out an addict to keep them on the hook. Democratic leaders have been diabolical in their racism.

You are so right, ever since African Americans received welfare benefits, their levels of poverty have increased since the 1960s.
