Tattoos?!

I have 2 tattoos. I got one just after graduating from HS and the other one I designed. Mine are visable unless I want them to be. I am going to get another when I graduate from college. I won't put names on my body except for my future childrens, because you never know what might happen. I think that tattoos are fine if they are done in good taste and are done in a clean environment.

I have 9 tattoos. They all have meaning, and all but 2 are direct professions of my faith and my love for my family. I have my daughters' names on each forearm, visible in short sleeves. I work in law enforcement and only got good natured teasing about my tats. I am qualified for the job, do it well, so tats mean nothing to my bosses. My wife has 6 tattoos and is a Christian School teacher. Her students do not do worse in her classes because she has tattoos. Our faith and love for God are not affected by our choice in body decoration. Our personalities and our commitment to each other and our family is in no way hindered by ink in our skin. God knows us, He knows our hearts and our minds and our true intentions. If only people were more apt to ask about these things instead of immediately branding someone with tattoos a heathon.

My parents weren't happy about my tats, but they understand that it is what is in your heart that matters. People who are judgemental towards tattoos are stuck in old myths and prejudices.

MINK, when the time is right, discuss this with your family. If they cannot get over physical appearance, they are more guilty of sin than you will ever be for having a tattoo.

I'm a good girl, so I would never have a tattoo on the inside of my left ankle with a red rose and a special word hidden in the stem. Nope, not me. It would never have 2 special dates hidden in the leaves either. No, not me. Good girls don't do such things.

I have Tattoos. Love them! I want more. The wife is putting a hault on that...for now. : )

My dad is a preacher and he gave me a hard time about it, but didn't kick me out of the family. He mostly teased me about being a biker. I wouldn't mind that either.......

i like tattoos unless they are really tacky. if you think them through they turn out okay. i wouldn't get one, probably because they last forever and also because i would be murdered by my grandparents, but they are cool.
