And? Fox is the only conservative major news station on cable while there are several left leaning stations which divides that audience.
The point of the OP article was that she no longer wanted to work at the CBC because she felt the culture there had changed in a short time. You were the one who extrapolated it to the ratings of a different channel in a different country.
And? Fox is the only conservative major news station on cable while there are several left leaning stations which divides that audience.
And I see nothing about CNN, or any media company, there. No, the OP author did, did you even read it? She clearly states the problem originiated in the US:
"It is to sign on, enthusiastically, to a radical political agenda that originated on Ivy League campuses in the United States and spread through American social media platforms that monetize outrage and stoke societal divisions. It is to pretend that the “woke” worldview is near universal — even if it is far from popular with those you know, and speak to, and interview, and read."
Well, I agree in part. CNN is biased but they aren't as biased as Fox and they still have a following.IMHO they are cratering because people are tired of their woke, PC, not to mentioned extremely biased reporting, see former host Cuomo.
Not really. The numbers are similar. The independents are just as big.Possibly, but more Americans identify as conservative than liberal, it's been that way for decades.
As of right now there are more people who identify as Republicans then Democrats, but a) independents outnumber both and b) that's a recent shift. There are usually more Democrats then Republicans, by a decent amount usually.Possibly, but more Americans identify as conservative than liberal, it's been that way for decades.
I guess that you don't know how that works. Chocolate ice cream being most popular depends on which poll one looks at. Either way, only a few points separate it from vanilla. A few votes switch from strawberry and one will pass the other in popularity.Yes and chocolate ice cream is the most popular because all those other flavors divide the ice cream consumers.
Maybe, just maybe it is also because FOX seldom makes errors in substance or judgment in their reporting.I guess that you don't know how that works. Fox is number I'm popularity because almost all conservatives watch it, for their main stream news. Liberals separate their viewership among MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC, while Independents split theirs among them all.
As for me, I like the local news stations because they report the news and leave personal commentary out.
Maybe, just maybe it is also because FOX seldom makes errors in substance or judgment in their reporting.
If you think Fox doesn't make errors in substance or judgment in their reporting, then a liberal would be just as correct in believing the same in CNN. FOX was created to counter CNN not correct it.Maybe, just maybe it is also because FOX seldom makes errors in substance or judgment in their reporting.
Have you tried to watch the news commentary shows on CNN and MSNBC?If you think Fox doesn't make errors in substance or judgment in their reporting, then a liberal would be just as correct in believing the same in CNN. FOX was created to counter CNN not correct it.
The news section of FOX isn't bad but reports with a Conservative lean. It's their political shows which are horrible and full of lies. Even FOX admits those shows are not credible.
Yes, have you tried to watch the political shows on Fox? I don't care much for any of them but Fox's political shows are disgusting..Have you tried to watch the news commentary shows on CNN and MSNBC?

Those numbers change quite quickly but the big key is on who runs next time. Republicans need to find a better candidate than Trump because Independents don't like him and without them, he has no chance. And bad news for Biden, he won independents by 13 in the last election, his approval is now -16 among them.
The election is almost 3 years away. The polls as they are now aren't an indication of how he will do then. And bad news for Biden, he won independents by 13 in the last election, his approval is now -16 among them.
independents are liking him more now that they have seen the alternative. Those numbers change quite quickly but the big key is on who runs next time. Republicans need to find a better candidate than Trump because Independents don't like him and without them, he has no chance.
You'd think with all the problems in liberal media, it would be easy for some conservatives to swoop in and create a good, reliable news outlet that did real reporting and solid analysis without any of this pandering clickbait.
Not from what I've seen. They don't like Biden much but he is the lesser of two bad choices. If Republicans want to win, they need to boot Trump out and find a more likable and more moderate Conservative.independents are liking him more now that they have seen the alternative.
