Even if it's not a whole, 100% complete picture, it's still enough to show that A) human life did not descend from a single family of 8 individuals, and B) human life did not descend from a single couple.

Yeah that’s basically the same thing I said, you don’t think Christians should believe the Bible. I mean according to what you just said in this post you think that Genesis is based on man made superstitions instead of being revealed to man by God.

Every religion has a Creation story, none of which I believe are superstitions. I just believe in what God's own Creation is showing us is all. I feel that I'd be foolish to deny what God Created.
