I wasn't actually talking about you. But now that you mention it, just by saying that Christianity is the only true religion and all others aren't going to Heaven is a hateful point of view.
It's not hateful. It shows great love. I want people to get out of the false religion and worship God the right way. I want every one to be rightous in Gods eyes. I want religion to be good and right and do nothing that disobeys God. The way it should be.

Granted people love their religions, I get that. I was born Catholic. But with some study of the bible they will find that the religions are not following God. At that point it is up to them. Stay with what is comfortable and refuse the truth or get out of the unclean thing and find the one true religion.

There is no scripture that states Gods one true religion can have a little wrong with it and be ok. Yes people can be wrong and sin. That is our nature, so we ask for forgiveness for the transgression. A religion does not have that luxury. They are the one in charge of the spiritual food. If they teach doctrines that are not of God you than see the fruits of the labors. Deception.

I still stand by my posts. If a religion contradicts the teaching of Jesus it is a false religion.
This is one of the biggest contradictions.

Praying to Mary, No where in the bible does it say to pray to her. No where. But it does have scripture that shows where Jesus puts a woman in her place for trying to glorify her and tells her to keep to scripture.

Luke 11: 27-28 27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. 28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

So blessed are the ones that hear the word of God and keep it.

No where in the word of God does it say that I am to pray to Mary. This is an apostate. A direct contradiction to scripture. This shows that any religion that prays to mary is a false religion. We were commanded not to do it. The religion that created this doctrine is the harlot of all modern religion. God told us to watch out for teachings that were not his. But we don't want to listen.

So get out of her and find the true religion of God.

If Jesus will not do it, than as a Christian I am not to do it.

Trouble with that is that Jesus was placed in a specific context. There are doubtless many things he would not do because it would be wrong in that context and many things he did that he wouldn't do in a different context. I very much doubt he would turn water into wine at an AA meeting for example.

There is no problem with the question. It is people trying to make it wrong. They're trying to discredit what I'm saying.

Would Jesus turn water into wine? Yes.

Would Jesus turn water into wine for AA members? No

See it still works. You were asking two different questions. It still holds true if Jesus won't do I won't do it.

This question is just to bring contradictions to light. Then it is up to the individual if they want to stay in a religion that contradicts itself and disobeys God. Or look in the bible for truth. Which is to do everything that Jesus commanded us.
For instants.

Would Jesus pray to Mary his mother? = No

We can see this from scripture
Luke 11: 27-28 27 And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. 28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

So where in the word of God does it say to pray to Mary. Matter of fact the bible points out that you are not to do it.

This contradiction is in direct violation of the teachings of Jesus. Any religion that prays to Mary is a false religion.

John 15:20-21
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

The false religions use Jesus's name. But do not follow Christ's doctrine

2 John 1:9-10
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

See above. if you do not abide the doctrine of Christ you don't have God.

praying to Mary is not Christ's doctrine so who ever practices this apostasy does not have God.

Contradiction shows false religion.

I'm sorry, I believe that all religions have a bit of good to offer the world.
We are not all on the same spiritual level and therefore we don't all require the exact message that the Christian Bible offers.
I don't remember Jesus condemning any other peoples beliefs. And I'm sure that back in those days, there were many different beliefs. Rather, it was unbelief or hurting others that Jesus seemed to have a problem with.

Here's an Idea that YOU may see as scripture twisting.
1. God is Love
2. Jesus is God
3. Jesus must also be Love.
Love is the way, truth and the life.

A lot of people feel the way you do. But that is still denying scripture. Those scriptures are not in the bible to just waist space. There for our use. To learn from and teach others.
If a religion teaches things that are not in the bible, How is those people going to learn what Jesus wanted us to do. How are they going to learn truth. Satan has corrupted religions. He brought back all the practices of Babylon, Right down to God having 3 heads.

How can you follow man made doctrine over the doctrine of God and still show love for him?

2 Corinthians 11:14-15
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

These verses show that Satan is not alway a hideous thing. and his ministers appear to be righteous.

If the ministers of the church are not following Christ doctrine we know where those ministers come from.

Got to keep the faith. Can't just believe what some guy told you. Always look it up in the bible yourself.

Jesus did condemn other religions that did not follow his father.

Matthew 15:7-9 7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Just as the pharisees of those days do the churches of today practice tradition and doctrine that is not Christ's doctrine.

Sounds pretty close to what the Bible and what Jesus taught to me. It certainly fits with First John and Matt 25:31 and following.

What Jesus has a problem with is those who can't see the truth because of their hard hearts and then insist that everyone else follow their ways which are absolutely worthless.

these Pharisee's are still very much alive and well in every religion today, especially christianity.

these are the people who see the bible as a whole bunch of rules and regulations and can't see the big picture through the words.

these are the people who always go on about context and keep parts of the bible locked up from understanding to most of the christian world by teaching that God is merely an angry deity and not a loving father!

Thank you Brother, That was exactly what I was trying to say. You did a much better job saying it. I see the big picture. I just get spouting rules and things in hopes that people will see the infernal false religions of today, Plus If governments fail to follow God they to are considered false religions. False Religion is everywhere and in everything, like maggots on a carcass. We as Christians are to try to keep clean.

Here is some food for thought.
Matthew 24:9-12 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Notice the last line.
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. This is talking about when the greater numbers cool off. When more people believe in false religions than the truth. So the ones that speak the truth will be far smaller in number than that of false religions.

In Satan's world wrong becomes right (Abortion, worshiping Mary, War, Nationalism, porn) All are accepted and man made laws protect them. Than right becomes wrong.( People that keep the faith will be hated because they say Abortion,
worshiping Mary, War, Nationalism and porn are wrong). That is the big picture. All those things that are wrong in Gods eyes are legal. So the slaves of God that follow his word and consider those things against God. Are hated for it. That just doesn't make sense. Unless, this is Satan's world. Where evil things become good things and good things become hated things.
God bless

Those aren't other religions that Jesus is having an issue with. He's talking about the people who supposedly follow the old testament.

What I'm trying to point out is they were hypocrites just like the religious leaders of today are. Say one thing and the bible says another. Teach the doctrines and commandments of men over the doctrine and commandments of God. Hypocrites all of them. Those that given up the doctrine of Christ for man made doctrine do not have God.

2 John 1:9-10 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Test your religion. Does It's doctrine follow Christ and the teachings in the bible or does the bible say different. If it says different and you can see gross neglect of scripture I would leave that religion personally.

Things like praying to Mary, Mary is the mother of God, Jesus is God, use the rosery, ministers are not to marry. all these things are unscriptual and not in the bible. Signs of a false Religion.

OK Logicalthinker, what is the one true religion? What denomination follows the word of God to the letter?
What church today is the model of the "true" church?

What group of believers are the only ones who will get into Heaven?
That is a good question. It is in the bible how to recognize them. They will be hated for their good works, They will be hated in Jesus name. and they will show a compelling urge to spread the word and the good news of the kingdom. Despite what people think of them. Sometimes they even get spit on. I have studied many religions and don't belong to any because of the whole false religion issue in todays world. But if I was going to point to one in this day and age I would have to say the Jehovah's Witnesses probably are the true religion the bible talks about. There way of worshiping God through his son Jesus the sacrificial lamb does not contradict scripture. They follow Jesus's teaching to the tee and have no man made doctrine in their religion only the bible. When some one is doing bad over and over they kick them out. I can not find contradictions in their faith. They did on the other hand get some prophecy wrong. like the world will end in 1975. That was very damning for them. But unlike false religions of the day the publicly went out and said they got it wrong fixed the errors and proceeded forward. The false religions of the day just hide their fallacy.

But yeah, I would think probably the Jehovah's Witnesses. Plus it's not Heaven but everlasting life. Only 144,000 humans go to heaven. The anointed ones. It is a false religious belief that everyone gets to go to heaven. The scriptures clearly point this out. This world is a world of entitlement. Everyone gets to go to Heaven. The bible does not support that. The bible does support everlasting life on earth. The meek shall inherit the earth. Not heaven notice.

Actually the Bible says everything is going to be burned up. I don't see where you get there will be everlasting life on earth from scripture. The New Jerusalem is not a literal city built in a 1500 square box sitting on the face of the earth and extending 1500 miles into space. The 144,000 is also symbolic and not a literal number. It comes from a book that was written in signs and symbols. The Jehovah's Witnesses do a pretty good job of seeing the symbolism in the book of Revelation until they get to the 144,000 and then for some reason they go literal. I have pointed that out to some of them and got no satisfactory response. Also I don't think they fixed their errors, just repeated them in a different way. I do have a lot of respect for them by the way and believe some of them will be there when I get there, actually I think we will number far greater than the literal 144,000. I think they may refer to that group as the John group. I don't like that classifcation of Christians into the super Christians and the rest of us either.

Actually the earth is not going to burn up. Scripture points this out only false religions teach that the Earth will be destroyed and we all sit on clouds playing little harps. Satan's wicked system that is on the Earth is what is talked about. Than God is going to restore the planet to his glory. A wonderful Garden. That was his intentions in the beginning. Why not follow through.

Psalms 37:9-11
9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalms 37:29The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

Ecclesiastes 1:4 O
ne generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.

Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

Matthew 5:5
Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

See the earth wasn't made in vain God will inhabit it with his people. The 144,000 that are the annoited ones go to heaven to be our judges and priests. The little flock Jesus talks about are going to live on earth just as God intended.

Mathew 22:30
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

acts 24:15
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Philipians 3:10-11
10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

1 Corinthians 15:12-14 12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

1 Corinthians 15:21-22
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

The resurrection is quite real. False religions do not teach this. They were to busy trying to fill coffers so they tickled the ears of people to fill the church. Not everyone goes to heaven like false religions teach. Only 144,000 and the rest will be resurrected and live as angels on the Earth.

You did not quote the scriptures that said the old earth would be done away and where Peter said everything will be distroyed by fire. When you quoted the forever passages you did not include the fires of Sodoom and Gomorrah that will burn forever. You missed the scripture that says all are resurrected. I agree all do not inherit eternal life---Oh and you missed all the myrids in Heaven with the 144,000--so vast it could not be numbered. We are not going to be resurrected to physical bodies here on earth---1 Cor 15. This picture of 144,000 in heaven with God and the rest on earth is a man made idea----not in scripture and can only be supported by scripture by misusing different scriptures and ignoring other scriptures.

Your correct that peter said everything will be destroyed by fire. He is talking about Satan's world, this world we live and all this stupid pavement everywhere. But than there will be a new Heaven and a New Earth.

You can't just ignore the verses about the Earth going on forever and man will inherit the earth. If a religion contradicts the bible it is not the bible that is wrong. For the bible is the word, Jesus is the word, Through the bible all can be straitened and all false religion can not hide from the word of God.

Isaiah 65:17
For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

God did not make the earth in Vain. It is to be inhabited.

Isaiah 66:22-23
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain. 23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

Now notice I highlighted flesh.

1 Corinthians 15:50
Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Well how can all flesh come to worship before him if we are all in heaven where flesh can not go.

look at this verse again

1 Corinthians 15:12-14 12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: 14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

We were warned false religions would preach against the resurrection.

Like I said if a religion contradicts the bible it is a false religion. The father of lies appears as an angel of light.

I would like to point out Elman. Your right. That the new Jerusalem is a spiritual place where the 144,000 anointed ones, Angels, Jesus, and God Almighty live and rule the Earth from there. And the tabernacle of God resides with man on Earth.
