I'm not sure, but I think you guys have been playing the game wrong. According to the rules in the original post, you're supposed to take one and replace it with something else.

For example: Eel or snail. I choose "snail". Now I replace "snail" with something else (e.g. "dog"--so now we have eel or dog).
