What other instruments do you play?

I know you were asking JD this question, but I'm going to answer it anyway.

Can you believe that I took piano lessons for over 2 years - even playing in a public concert in a local mall once - and NEVER learned how to read music beyond basic notes. I memorized everything I played by ear (listening to my teacher play).

That said, I would love to take guitar lessons and learn to read music. I love acoustic guitar.

Most likely, I'm taking Hungarian because nobody else really knows it, it's so obscure that it attracts my interest, and Electrical Engineering has always interested me.

I have taken fencing and now I'm taking guitar... Sometimes these classes are more fun then a date. I have a friend that took up French Cooking....

Yay! fencing! I just started that bec. there's it's at an affordable rate for me right now, but its an expensive sport.

I'd want to take singing lessons, surfing lessons, advanced cooking lessons, scuba diving, and learn more instruments. And have access to a pottery studio with a kiln.

With a military background and a EE, you'll pretty much have your pick of careers.

At least at community colleges there are many people who are in their 30s and older who take those kinds of classes. Sounds like fun to me.

Yeah I've tried it and it was so great! Makes you feel so womanly, even though it originally wasn't specifically for women. (Plus you can feel it working your abs, and not in a painful way!) I'm definitely going to go back to it.

Right now if I don't have to take another class....I ain't doing it.

But I have always wanted to take a drawing class. I loved art in high school and I even kept all my art work.

I also want to take some sort of martial art class. I'm thinking of getting into something but I'm not sure which one I want to do. There's a guy in my class who's into it but the one he's doing breaks people's arms, ribs and I'm not joking. He's broken many bones so there's no way I'm doing that. Can you imagine a 100lb person doing something like that? They'd break me like a tig.
