Why is it that every body who seems to Love Relient K, is teenage Girls?

The reason teenagers love relient k so much is that teenagers go to youth group.

actually SF is better than RK.....but not by much, and it is like comparing say.......Burger King to Mcdonalds!..........I personally enjoy fine dining like UNDEROATH!

And I thought I told you that you wouldn't like casting crowns so don't listen to them...so overplayed! It's driving me crazy!
I think what should be asked is "why is it most relient k fans are 13-17?" hmmm....

yeah, "and stuff" is pretty amazing. it's a genre though, not a band. right now one of my favorite "and stuff" bands is vroom. denison witmer was pretty high up there on the list last night, though.

(also, just to note: i like switchfoot and do not approve of people bashing them just 'cause they're trendy right now. so there! oh, and, paracristo, new or old underoath? underoath has legions of teen (hot topic loving) followers now too, you know.)

the problem is there has been BUNCHES of RK threads started... I just wish we could consolidate them all!!!!.....and Its sorta annoys me....(could'ya tell....hehe)

yeah I'm with her! I've liked switchfoot for some time and they are much better lyrically and musically than RK...and can reach more mature audiences.
and I can't say I've even heard underoath stuff in a long time. I saw them once like 4 years ago...Dallas set himself on fire hah. It was awesome.

I haven't listened to too much "and stuff" recently. I should.

oh and eighTEEN is still a teen...I just said 13-17 as a generalizaation.

I've been a Relient K fan for awhile, their new album is the only one I really loved though, the others were hit and miss with me. Their new one has some of their most clever lyrics, and creative music. They are great for a pop-punk act, though there are tons of bands that blow them away outside of pop-punk.

As for Switchfoot, Jon Foreman is a talented lyricist, but he tends to be repetitive. I've hered there's gonna be a political song on the new album, so that should be interesting.

It is useless to resist...they have assumed control. Tiny little Relient K clones will burst out of our stomachs any moment now and immediately begin hopping around our living rooms shrieking "Maybe It's Maybelline"...

I absolutely hate when I am reading threads that talk about Switchfoot, and I see the letters SF. I keep thinking of Starflyer 59, which is a much greater band than Switchfoot (although I like some Switchfoot), and then I just get upset that more people don't know how great Starflyer 59 is.

I played Switchfoot's "This Is Your Life" during the picture display at my graduation. It was different pictures of me throughout the years and "This Is Your Life" was playing at the same time.

It wasn't meant to be mean at all. I was homeschooled and graduated with 2 other people. But from the sounds of it she sounded like she was the only one graduating what with her own slide show and people playing songs she seemed to like.
