Has anyone seen it/ been in it?

If so what did you think?

I think that this is a wonderful musical. It's very enthraling. I was not able to see the play live, but I was able to see the film that one of the casts put out, and I absolutely loved it.

I saw a production a few years ago with Patti Lupone and Neil Patrick Harris. It is one of my very favorite musicals.

I saw it performed by a small theater group in Davis, CA about 10 years ago. It was excellent!

I saw it many years ago. Like probably over 20 years ago and it was amazing. I was quite young so it kind of scared me but the music is great and the plot is just wild!

I saw the musical in a major production with J. Stapleton (sp). I really enjoyed it. I was very amused with the Idea of Sweeney grinding up the men and turning them into sausage that would be fed to their unwanted orphaned children. Now THAT is dark humor.

I saw it at Circle in the Square theater in NYC back in 1989 or 1990. I thought it would be awful when I heard what it was about, but I liked it a lot.

I saw it on video, but it was still awesome. The music is absolutely amazing, and the story is... I don't know, would you say it's something you love to hate? Very dark, that's for sure...
