I think it would be cool if they are dropped off on the islands separately. That would be cool! My bro just thinks they will not be in teams instead having to fight for indiviual immunity at the beginning. His thought makes more sense, mine is one step up and is not as realistic. I am curious as to what others think though.

Today, it is one of the premier diving spots in the world. In WW II however, it was the site of some of the bloodiest small island fighting in the Pacific. The island of Peliliu saw some of the worst carnage of the war. I hope at some point in the series, a commemoration of the fighting will take place.

woohoo! Cant wait! Since there will be 20 people i wonder if they will split into 4 tribes of 5 each??? either that or individual immunity from the beginning! who knows!

I'm thinking two tribes of ten, but it will be up to the players to split after they've been dropped off.

I'm sure that they'll go into this. It's already been pointed out in the previews. I'll bet one of the rewards is a tour of sorts.

You don't have to go to Palau to do this. In 2001 I took a vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and signed up for a side trip with a dolphin encounter. The more expensive option was to actually swim with the dolphins, but I still got to feel one (like a wet basketball is my best analogy), have her swim around me and give her an almost* kiss.

I really loved it and cherish the experience. If you ever get a chance to have a dolphin encounter, I suggest you do so.

* The handler told us she was pregnant and I don't kiss any woman, not my wife, that is pregnant - regardless of species.

If I am not mistaken, they alluded to this in the last Survivor reunion show when they previewed the next location. I believe they showed some of the underwater wreckage. I, too, think it would be a good idea to showcase some of the history of this island. They always seem to, at least, in the good-bye show when it is down to the last couple of players.

Along with being able to swim with dolphins in Mexico that USincognito mentioned, I think you can also do this in Orlando. If not Orlando, then some other place in FL. I remember someone posting a thread a long time ago about this subject and they had pictures of them with the dolphins. I agree, it does sound like a pretty cool thing to do!

Can't wait for Survivor to return. Personally, I believe the suprise they're planning has to do with the new amount of people in the show. If it is going to happen in the first 10 minutes, it would probably have to do with how they split up the teams. Perhaps the 4 tribes of 5 like someone said earlier, or something else along those lines. Whatever the suprise is, Palau needs to hurry up and get here. :D
