In the case of an ectopic pregnancy, the fetus has no chance of surviving (the ovary will rupture before the third month) and there is a good chance the mother will die if the ovary ruptures and she doesn't get into surgery very quickly.

In that case, only the mother can be saved, and if the pregnancy continues until the ovary inevitably ruptures and the early-term fetus inevitably dies the mother will be at risk of dying, too.

I know two women who had ectopic pregnancies, and to suggest that they were not at risk of death, or that their fetuses had even an .0000001% chance of survival otherwise, is absolutely wrong.

As has been stated many times before I do not think that an ectopic pregnancy is one of the thingss that we are talking about but instead, is one of the few exclusions to the rule. So let us try to keep this in perspective.

I am ss that you have encountered two women that have had to endure such an ordeal but it is extremely rare, and that is the point.
