The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. I'm .... okay. Frustrated. But I'm handling it okay.
My nutritionist thinks that if my meds worked like they should, I'd be losing weight better. Weird.
I weigh barely less than I did last summer.

GG, I can't explain why God does or doesn't do something... His will is incomprehensible to us. Things happen, good or bad. And they happen for a reason. Just like me, or you, or any of us, having an ED or having trouble with SI or being depressed or suicidal or all of the above. There is a reason for all of that, and it is not punishment. God doesn't cause pain to His children. He allows it to happen... Satan is the master of pain and suffering and hurt... and it is allowed for a reason. I don't know why, like I said. But don't let your faith in God be shaken with whatever happens to Kyle & Missy's baby. I know how freaking hard it is for you right now. Just hang in there, trust in God that things will work out for the best - and remember that the best He has in mind is not necessarily the best that you have in mind.[/preaching ]
Bruce told me yesterday what's happened with my weight from last July til now......... I peaked at a really high weight, barely less than what my dad weighs, and I'm a good five inches shorter than he is. And I was about the same amount less than I am now. And I gained it all back with the caffeine stuff and the flubbage during the trip, and now I'm on my way back down again. So... yeah, Bec, I did gain a lot of weight.But oh well. Life goes on, I s'pose, hmm?
