Hello everyone I am Nashella Mae of Bright Tomorrow Foundation. We are a non-governmental organization which runs an orphanage in Cebu City, Philippines. I am here to ask for your support and assistance in sustaining the daily needs of our children.
We currently are supporting 30 orphans, age 9-13, most of them were surrendered by their biological parents because of poverty. We do have
local benefactors but our growing orphanage has made the situation even more financially demanding because we have now more mouths to feed. The Cebu City Provincial Government, fortunately, is subsidizing
their vitamins, medicines, and education (our building is just nearby a government public school).
We, too, have our way of sustaining the orphanage by operating a 20-seater internet cafe business at the ground floor of the same building and this greatly help us offset water, electric, and telephone bills.
The food allowance that we allocate for each child daily is PhP168.00 (Philippine Peso) or around £3 GBP or US $ 4.
Here is the breakdown (prices are in Philippine peso):
Breakfast:
2 pcs. ham/sausage (depending on what's available in the grocery)- PhP16.00
2 small tomatoes -PhP6.00
1 salted, boiled duck's egg -PhP20.00

Our benefactors will be included in our children's vespers together with their prayer requests. This is our own little way of showing how much we appreciate your kindness.
I'm not sure if I posted this in the correct category. Please do move to the correct section.
