CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Sunsets are just gorgeous! My sister lives on a hill and you can see the sun set over the valleys and it looks so beautiful. I've yet to get a photograph though because I never seem to have my camera grrr...but I love sunsets in general and have some beautiful photosGargantuas said:

Yup. Almost all of my client's engagement and family photo sessions are taken at sunset (or sunrise). Sometimes I hop into my car and just drive the two hours over to the west coast of Florida for the heck of it to see if i can catch a good sunset. Dinner at a beachside grill, a walk on the beach, camera and tripod ready. It's a nice evening.

HUGE fan of sunsets here...I got some great shots at Puerto Penasco, Mexico a couple years ago, but they were just with my little 2.1 mp starter camera

I love sunsets and sunrises... this morning as we left our house i said to my husband, LOOK at the sun it was HUGE and round and beautiful... daggum it I forgot my camera at home LOL

Man, I just LOVE sunsets also! There are just so many things you can do with them!
Here are some of my sunset pics.
MD-500C helicopter in foreground and hot air baloons being inflated in the distance.
Cessna 172 departing with beautiful backdrop.
The three pictures below are really crazy. At first I was just like, blah, these are terrible. But every time I look at each of them I find myself liking it more and more! Perhaps it is more of the "idea" behind the pictures.
This one above I'd really love if the hangar wasn't there at the bottom. Next time I'll frame it better.
This one... eh... I dunno. I really love the colors.
I still like this one as the airplane is extremely subtle in it. In a perfect world, though, I'd have a flat horizon and a perfect outline of the airplane. And plus, the amazing texture of that sky was too good to blur out as a background.
Lemme know what you guys think.
