Sun and Moon Fighting

Yesterday my five year old granddaughter said to her mom, "The sun and the moon are fighting and Jesus is in the sun." She is concerned that the sun is going to go away. The other day she said to me, "I'm ready to go to heaven." When I inquired as to her sudden desire to go to heaven she replied, "Because Jesus is taking too long to come back." And, then she added, "I'll still be alive."

I do believe she sees things in the supernatural realm, perhaps dreams and/or visions. Does anyone have any thoughts on the "sun and moon fighting"? Has anyone here had any similar dreams? Could it possibly be this?

Lizzie's mom, Faith, often has dreams about Revelation. Interesting, hmmmm.

My first thought was that the sun is light, warmth, produces life & rules the day. Which is the true Son Jesus. The moon would be satan which is the exact opposite & the deceiver.
I think it could represent the powerful spiritual war clash that we are entering or already experiencing...just something I've sensed for awhile.

Thanks, gracechick. That makes sense. I truly believe that little ones can hear God better than adults because they have that child-like faith and their little minds are not so bogged down by theology and stuff that hinder them from just hearing God with a pure heart and mind. I do believe she is seeing spiritual warfare, since she said that Jesus was in the sun. I'm feeling it a lot lately, myself, just in my own physical body - been really battling fatigue a lot lately - feel God is getting me ready for something and Satan is trying to drag me down, thus the messages God has been giving me lately about renewing my strength and mounting on wings like eagles and running and not being weary, etc.

I can tell you this for sure the moon effects people both physically and mentally and not in a good way. anyone that works with large groups of people will tell you a full moon really cause problems and in a sense it is understandable. the moon causes the whole ocen to move the moon causes high tides and low tides if the moon causes this change it no doubt causes a change in humans who are also over 90 % water. all i know is where i work when its a full moon it effects everyone in a BAD way both physically and mentally.

Thanks! Yeah, I know what you mean. My PMS seems to always coincide with a full moon - I get very tired during a full moon and more emotional and sometimes a little irratible, too, so I know what you're saying here. I'm all the time looking at the calendar to see if it is a full moon whenever I feel that way, and most the time it is.

I too have had this dream. It is reoccurring. I am not sure what it means. I do know that I am in fear while the fight is going on. Once i awake, I know that the sun wins the battle. I am concerned because I am not sure what it all means. I too seek and answer.

What came to my mind, was that the Sun represents the light. The light in scripture represents Jesus.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

In John 1, Jesus is the word that became flesh and the light of the world. Satan was "Darkness"

and the life was the light of all people. 5The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.
