would God send someone to hell because they killed themselves? looking for a christian view.
Whatever the person's spiritual condition was is what they will be judged on. God isn't going to condemn anyone specifically for suicide. Keep in mind that any self destructive behavior is suicidal. It just takes longer to die from say, smoking, than shooting one's self.would God send someone to hell because they killed themselves? looking for a christian view.
Nobody is exempt from bad things happening to us and we need to be very careful about transferring the blame to God for allowing what happens. If we knew for sure why he allows them, it still wouldn't have much bearing as to how we deal with the issues of life.ok, in regards to that, why would God allow so much terrible stuff happen to one of His children that he loves that would push them to the point of even considering suicide? WHY?!?!
I think God is more forgiving than that... I believe in reincarnation and my idea of.
No, he dies twice.Man only dies once.
whewwwwwwww and for a second I thought you was seriousI believe that suicide is a capital crime for which its practitioners deserve to be punished with the ultimate penalty: death.
If people realize they will receive the death penalty for suicide, they'll think twice about doing it.
(Note: I'm being facetious, folks!)
Actually, as suicide hotline volunteers, we were taught to use whatever resources we had at our disposal to stave off the attempt until the caller could be seen by a professional. If the caller believed he/she would go to hell for suicide, we were encouraged to use that belief to our advantage. We weren't to put that idea into the caller's mind, but if the idea was already there...and if it seemed to be one of the reasons for their "hold out," then we were to play that up. And the "if I do it, I will go to hell" reason was a very common hold out, just second to "I need to stick aroud for my kids/pets."I believe that suicide is a capital crime for which its practitioners deserve to be punished with the ultimate penalty: death.
If people realize they will receive the death penalty for suicide, they'll think twice about doing it.

hold on a tick... A catholic who disbelieves a teaching of the CC? do tell.Jesus died on the cross to help us with ALL of ours sins. This doesn't exclude suicide.
As a Catholic, I'm pretty sure my church teaches that if a person commits suicide, they go to hell because they never get a chance to ask forgiveness.
I don't believe that though, I believe in a more loving god than that.
Yes, as a Catholic I disagree with some Catholic teachings. I don't believe that any denomination is perfectly correct in everything they say, because denominations are based on and run by humans who make mistakes.hold on a tick... A catholic who disbelieves a teaching of the CC? do tell.
