[Broken Hearted]

Ive been struggling really bad to cope with things lately. Alot has went on in the past few weeks and it keeps getting worse. It has made me physically sick and Today I had another breakdown. Ive been having suicidal thoughts and today I was close to the end. I am safe with a friend with me right now but I cant keep going on like this. Things are really bad for my family and the weight of it all has been put on my shoulders to fix to say the least. Im losing this battle.

I am so glad that you are safe with a friend. You have to stop taking on the responsiblities of others. It is only making things worse for you. I understand your need to help your family, but you must take care of yourself before you can even begin to help someone else. Praying that you will reach this understanding of self care!

Thank yall for the prayers. Im doing better today. Made it through the rough night thanks to my loving friends. The thoughts have eased alot. Still the occasional one here and there but nothing bad. Just need alot of prayers that all the horrible things going on in my family will come to a end. I really need them to so I can focus on myself and get through the next rough week coming up trying to make it through the grieving process. God will give me the strength I know. I pray I can get back to myself again. Being so upset has just physically drained me and has made me sick. But Thank yall so much for your love and prayers.

Hi Broken Hearted. I have felt this kind of pain too and struggle with it more often than I care to say. Today I was at a support group and we were making New Years resolutions for self growth. One of my resolutions was To Want to Live and Thrive. I wrote down some steps to take in order to meet my goal. It was very helpful for me. I also pray to God and talk to Jesus often. Your post really touched me and I am so glad you are doing better now. I will pray for the good Lord to meet all of your needs and comfort you and lead you and make things easier for you. I know how hard that road is. But we can want to live again. We just need to write out the steps that can help us acheive that goal. Just doing that helped me to feel better already. Hi, I just joined this site tonight because I too am severely depressed and often have suicidal thoughts. I hope you're ok now because I know that the feelings often pass. I'm barely hanging on myself. I know that God never leaves or forsakes us but it just sometimes seems to much for one person to bear. That's when I envision myself carrying the person or thing to the cross, giving it to Jesus, walking away with empty hands so that I can praise Him. Email me if you would like to chat more.
