  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I graduate this May and just found out that we're allowed to decorate out caps. I've seen people from this semester's graduation put things like "Thanks Mom", "I did it" and things pertaining to their frats/sororities etc. I've decided that I definitely want to put a Bible verse on my cap. Only problem is I have ZERO idea which one.

A little background info, I was in a really bad car accident a few years ago and only survived by the grace of God. I sustained a serious brain injury during the crash and was told by numerous doctors that I would not be able to pursue my career goals because I would not be able to go back to college. In all of their opinions I would be successful in completely a training program/trade school and if I tried extremely hard I might be able to complete an Associate's degree in a few years. All that being said, it's been almost 5 years since the accident and while I had to change my career goals, I was able to truck through my Community College and got accepted in a 4 year college. I'll be graduating with my Bachelor's degree in May and know that it is all because of God. He made the impossible happen and I want a verse the will reflect that.

Any suggestions? I feel like this is a way for me to publicly thank God for all He's done in my life (especially over the past 5 years) and also hopefully be used to bring a nonbeliever to pick up a Bible or google the verse or something.

Wow blessed with that! Thank you for sharing... now it's time to share it to the rest of the world, at least the part where you are at for now haha..:)

"This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him." Psalm 91:2
"The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety." Psalm 18:2
"Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble. The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. The LORD will sustain him on his sickbed" Psalm 41:1-3
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2

Hope that helps. God bless you MORE! Merry Christmas! :)
