Sucker Punch

Been seeing previews for this movie since December when I went to see Due Date.

I'm definitely going to see the movie and I'm amused that Quentin Tarantino isn't involved, since it definitely seems like his kind of movie. Of course that probably just means that the director loves Tarantino.

IMDB's summary is "A young girl is institutionalized by her wicked stepfather. Retreating to an alternative reality as a coping strategy, she envisions a plan which will help her escape from the facility. "

Definitely my kind of movie...especially since the outfit for all females in this alternate reality seems to involve Japanese school girl outfits, katanas and big guns. It's like a live-action anime

Who else is wanting to see this movie?

Sounds decent, but I pictured a different type of movie when I heard the title "Sucker Punch". I'll probably check it out when it hits theatres though.

heard Led Zeppelin playing tought it was awesom

saw rest of trailer immediatley knew i was not gooing to see it.

It looks beyond stupid. bad story, stupid setting, relies on graphics. reminds me of the Star Wars prequels (shutters). This actually looks worse.
