It was a very hard week this week. Extremely to say the least.

My problems + OCD + Depression + Mom suffering = Big Emotional Disaster.

I prayed a lot, and asked God for a signal.

Well, It came today.

I was at church and the pastor started reading Mathew 5

" 3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth."

I literally felt so at peace at that time when he was explaining this passage. Such an amazing peace. The pastor put some oil on our foreheads and then I felt an electricity over my head when he put his hands over it while praying.

I don't think it was mere coincidence, It was God speaking to me through his word.

Yes, God speaks to us through His word in just this way.

The Bible is such an amazing book.

I wanna get myself a bigger letter version since I kind of have trouble reading mine, but yes.

Any of you have experiences like this? When God talks to you?

Yes, of course, frequently. When ever you are having hard times, God is there.

I think it must have been horrific for Jesus down here, not something we can fathom at all.

God is always close to a sad, contrite heart.

God is the One we can always count on.

I agree, this is how God speaks to me. I am struggling in my life right now, and it seems like every sermon I hear, every class I attend, every book I read- all points back to the same 3 passages right now. Coincidence? I think not.

I also got some evangelical e-mails last week with those 3 passages. They are really comforting.
