In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Was reading my bible last night before bed. Job is a stellar dude. He had everything taken away from him and yet he still stood fast in the Lord. I wish we could all take a lesson from him. I am gonna do my hardest to live as JOB lived. He should be an inspiration to us all.

Absolutely. There is just SO much good stuff in Job. We did a session on Spiritual Warfare last night and he came up. Not only does he remind us that we should trust in God's ways, even if we don't understand them, but the book itself reminds us that Satan can't do anything to us without God's permission, and we know that God won't allow us to suffer or tempt us beyond our ability to bear it.

Job Is Amazing when going through storms, or in tempting situation, anything bad you can think of... that book gives you strength, it's a very good read in my opinion.. i probably wouldn't have come out of my storm if it wasn't for that book lol

Job chapter 9 is amazing, just readind that makes you want to keep going, even with the hurt, cus you know God is God..

Job 9:2-12
"Indeed, i know that this is true, but how can a mortal be righteous before God? Though one wished to dispute with him, he could not answer him one time out of a thousand. His wisdom is profound, his power is vast. Who has resisted him and come out unscathed? He moves mountains without their knowing it and overturns them in anger. He shakes the earth from it's place and makes it's pillars tremble. He speaks to the Sun and it does no Shine; he seals off the light of the stars. He alone stretches out the heavens and treads on the wavesof the sea. He is the maker of the Bear and Orion, the pleiades and constellations of the south. he performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miricles that cannot be counted. When he passes me, i cannot see him; when he goes by, i cannot perceive him. If he snatches away, who can sto him? who can say to him, 'what are you doing?'

Job 12:16 With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.

This is one of the most unpopular revelations in the Bible, that satan and those he deceives are ALL belonging to God.... men shy back from this fundamental truth given in Job because of old wives tales that pass for religion of men...

The truth then revealed in Job is that Lucifer is indeed 'God's prodigal son' :-

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

It is so hard NOW for men to see past the dogma of man-made religion to see that God MUST love His prodigal son just as dearly as He loves His truer son, Jesus ...

It is sad then that men do not even realise that ALL men must suffer now for sake of God's humbling and beginning the long process toward redemption of Lucifer at the very end of time...

The clues to this are deep withing scripture , the first thing to notice in understanding the symbols is that Satan is indeed a covering cherub [also renderred cherubim, and even cherubims] at the very throne of God :-

Ezek 28:3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
5 By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
11 ¶ Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

and there it is in black and white, Satan manifests as a man, in just the same way as Jesus manifested as a man...

and BOTH die mortal deaths , one unjustly despite that he is as perfect as God , the other for blasphemy , pretending that he is God whenhe is NOT any more perfect as he was when created Lucifer , light-giver ...

So the cherubim DO have the face of a man :-

Ezekiel 10:14 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

Thus we know that just as Satan is given power over men in THIS earth [Rev 13:3-7] as a 'lion' with power, so Jesus is given all power as the 'lion of Judah' in the new earth as king of kings in the kingdom of God finally come on earth to all men [but not on THIS earth - John 18:36 ]

Then aso we know that BOTH Jesus and Satan are translated to the spirit , as 'eagles' ... the symbology is used about God who is spirit :-

Deut 32 : 9 For the LORD’S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.
10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.
11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

Proverbs 23:5 Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

Awesome book Job. And this is my favorite passage from it...

Job 19:23 "Oh that my words were written! Oh that they were inscribed in a book!
Job 19:24 "That with an iron stylus and lead They were engraved in the rock forever!
Job 19:25 "As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will take His stand on the earth.
Job 19:26 "Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I shall see God;
Job 19:27 Whom I myself shall behold, And whom my eyes will see and not another. My heart faints within me!

Quote me some Scripture from other books in the Bible to back up your claim that God loves Satan and that Satan is a son of God.

Heb.2:14 says:
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— (i.e. Jesus came to destroy the Devil)

Rev. 12:9 says:
The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him

Rev. 20:10 says:
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Satan is an enemy of God; he is NOT a son of God.

Quote me some Scripture from other books in the Bible to back up your claim that God loves Satan and that Satan is a son of God.

Satan is a created being , created perfect and before mankind [Ezekiel 28:15] ... all created being come to accept Jesus as Lord in the end :-

Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Thus even Satan is redeemed at the very end of time.

Investigate then the story of the prodigal and non-prodigal son and see how well it fits the two covering cherubim, Jesus and Satan... scripture is written in 'parables, yet it is about the spirit, what moves men, and the prime movers of men are the two cherubim, the two principalities inheaven who share out God's power in this world into proving the TWO complementary tenets of the eternal covenant with creation, that LOVE is the way [as proven by Jesus] and that love is the only way [as proven by Satan trying out all the unloving ways and failing]

Heb.2:14 says:
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— (i.e. Jesus came to destroy the Devil)

Satan indeed is 'detroyed' in mortal death, jsut as Jesus was destroyed in death [in the terminology of the scripture ... 'apoleia' , destruction i death, such as the crucifixion used by the Romans, termed 'destruction' in scripture]

Yet both Jesus and Satan are resurrected, and Satan is thus 'set loose' a while in the enw earth to trial resurrected sinners from this earth in their perfection of love [following Jesus and the saints of this earth in trial to pefect their love and be redeemed at judgment -Rev 7:9-10]

Revelation 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Note too that Satan and his closest allies among men die a second [nortal] death to free them once again from their sin which has continued in the new earth, unlike the many who then live righteously under the ministry and rulership of Israel and their new king, Jesus the messiah ..

Rev. 12:9 says:
The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him

Satan does indeed manifest as the man of sin, son of perdition, but not as a giant red goat, rather as the saviour of the earth whom ALL men beliee in and worship [bar only a couple of thousand saints] - Rev 13:3-7

Rev. 20:10 says:
And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Examine the word translated as ever, it is the word 'aeon' , an age... a long time, but not forever ... Satan and his cohorts indeed suffer until the 'age of ages', until the end of time, but as we now know, time was craeted with our universe [space-time is one thing] , so time is finite in the past and in the future, it ends with the end of space-time, our heavens and earth :-

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
...
2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

[/quote]
Satan is an enemy of God; he is NOT a son of God.[/quote]

A son can become an enemy , these are not exclusive ...

But Satan is more truly called the ADVERSARY of God, the covering cherub who puts the case against God and is doomed to fail to prove his points and come to accept God's view , just like the prodigal son in scripture...

'Satan' actually means 'adversary' in Hebrew , that is why god re-named Lucifer [giver of light] when iniquity was found in him...

Thus one's image of Satan should be taken from scripture, not from popular religious myth... Satan is simply tasked by gd with putting the case against Him, just as an adversary counsel does in a court of law...

The point is that Jesus proves that LOVE works, Satan proves that NOT love, sin, doesn't work... thus both covering cherubi work for the glory of God in the end and Satan ,a s a created being does come to accept Jesus as Lord and receive the mercy of God that extends to the end of time [unlike what sinners teach] :-

Psalms 107:1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

God's mercy does not end with death as many religionists claim , rather death frees men from sin ready for the promised leading of all men into all God's truth - Joel 2:28, John 16:13 in the new earth [whereas only the few who must minsiter and rule afterward are saved in THIS earth]

Put it another way, emn find it so hard to love their 'enemies' , but that is what Jesus instructed men to do... do you imagine that God does not love those who oppose Him ?... Can God's love fail ? Would He even be rthe God of love if His love failed and he had not the poweer in His truth to persuade all creatures to take up His way...

The scripture staes explicity that EVERY creature, not just on earth, but in heaven and under the earth [in 'hell'] will accept Jesus [see above quote for instance]

Thus why listen to what sinners teach when you could listen to teh sainst and prophets of God in scripture ?

Job 14:12 So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep

Most men thus do ot live again in the flesh until after the second resurrection, after the destruction of this earth and heavens... men who died as sinners and did NOT receive baptism of the spirit into knowing all truth of God in THIS life are still promised that baptism and cannot receive it until they 'awake' in the new earth, God has PROMISED them all His truth [Joel 2:28] and then they will know it [John 16:13] ... all men able to live righteously in the new earth, but some few will still follow Satan and have to die yet again to be freed frm continuing sin by death as second time :-

Romans 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Ezek 33:12 Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.
13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

... The mercy of God then certainly endures way beyond death unlike in the teachings of most religionists [who are sinners, not saints of prophets of God unlike those of the scriptures]

2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Job has become a very important book in my life. I've struggled for years to understand it. It does not seem to answer the questions. But through my recent personal struggles, God has shown me some of the deeper meanings in this book. For instance:
1. The key issue at stake in Job is not suffering or Satan but RIGHTEOUSNESS. How can someone be right before God? This is the ground where the book of Job is based.
2. God choses this ground - "Have you considered my servant Job? He is a righteous man"
3. We read in the first few chapters how Satan attacks Job, but his attack extends much further - through the attacks of Job's friends. These well-meaning people became the prime instrument through which Job's righteousness was attacked.
4. Job's friends fail because they open their mouths without first asking God to inspire them. This is challenged by the young man who waits for the senior men to speak first. This young man speaks by the spirit of God.
5. I notice how God himself keep silent until after everyone else has had their say. It is as if he were there all the time, yet he places himself below them - truly he is gracious.
6. When he speaks, God does not give direct answers, but questions Job's (and our) ability to comprehend. He shows how great God is compared to us. He also indicates that he does fully understand.
7. Our part is to trust God. Not a blind, unquestioning trust, but a robust faith. A faith that knows that God is completely trustworthy; all these things that trouble us are safe in his hands.

I've always been curious about the other people in the Book of Job: Job's servants (who tended his oxen, sheep, and camels) and his children are killed (Job 1:14-19). Of course, at the end of the book, Job was more blessed (Job 42): he had seven more sons and three more daughters born to him, and the count of his livestock doubled. Even his number of years on earth were lengthened (although the LXX and the MT disagree on the number).

But that's not my point. My point is that the Book of Job is about Job, not about his children, for whom he made sacrifices and sin offerings constantly (Job 1:5). But what about his children? Nothing is said of the senselessness of their deaths and no commentary is given about their eventual replacement. Yes, the Book of Job is helpful for remembering patience, faith, and perseverence in times of trouble, but it does little to quell or console the mourner.

I take it that you don't believe in an eternal hell or that anyone is going to hell permenantly.

I disagree but I stated my views. On to another topic.

It matters not what I think, rather listen to Jesus :-

Revelation 20:13 .... and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

So Hell is EMPTY after giving up its dead!

And then Hell ENDS in the lake of fire when there is no more death [after the most eveil die a second deathand are resurrected to life in the lake of 'fire', the final trial :-

Revelation 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Job has become a very important book in my life. I've struggled for years to understand it. It does not seem to answer the questions.

Try this passage, it explains the whole of why men suffer, the biggest obstacle to true faith that men put in their own way as stumblingblock in religious teachings of tradition of men :-

Job 12:14 Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening.
15 Behold, he withholdeth the waters, and they dry up: also he sendeth them out, and they overturn the earth.
16 With him is strength and wisdom: the deceived and the deceiver are his.
17 He leadeth counsellors away spoiled, and maketh the judges fools.
18 He looseth the bond of kings, and girdeth their loins with a girdle.
19 He leadeth princes away spoiled, and overthroweth the mighty.
20 He removeth away the speech of the trusty, and taketh away the understanding of the aged.
21 He poureth contempt upon princes, and weakeneth the strength of the mighty.
22 He discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
23 He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: he enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again.
24 He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of the earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way.
25 They grope in the dark without light, and he maketh them to stagger like a drunken man.

This is truly awesome truth of God , and yet men do not hear it, cannot listen because of what it says, God witholds His spirit [water] from men for a while before afterward straightening them by pouring out His spirit on all flesh [Joel 2:28]

Thus men grope in the DARK now because God has not given His truth to all men yet [but only to the few whom He must save first because he needs them to minister and rule in His kingdom come at last, upon the new earth - Jesus said that he will not rule in this earth, but he will rule on earth, thus it is the new earth where God's law of love is as a 'rod of iron' and men live righteously because God has given all men all truth]

The question then is WHY NOT NOW? and this passage answers that too, the "deceiver" , Satan, and those he deceives are His, they too BELONG to God , they are part of God's creation and they are His :-

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Most men find this IMPOSSIBLE to accept, and thus seek the soothsayings of sinners in place of God's hard teachings in scripture... the truth is simply unbearable to most men, it offends their egos that Satan has power over them to MAKE men sin by simply deceiving them that sin is fun or pleasant or desirable ...

BUT it is God who GIVES Satan that power over men at THIS time [Rev 13:3-7] , the whole world worshipping together a false god in one finally united world religion inevitably called christianity since it has an image of a Christ as saviour of men in THIS world [yet ironically only the very few saints [144,000 in all time-Rev 7:3-8] who RESIST this tradition of men because God baptises them to ne ABLE not to sin further, will be redeemed in this world]

Why does God give Satan power to delude almost all men and the whole of christianity ? ...except His few [ from Rev 7:3-8 implied only about 2000 saints alive at any one time]

The naswer is simply that God loves His prodigal son too and will thus redeem Him by means of His love and truth ... FIRST then He must humble Satan, BREAK him , and the way to do that is to give him mankind worshipping him and then show him that with all that power he is still not a god, but will die as a mortal :-

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD.

Ezekiel 28:9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

Luke 20:18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. [Jesus]

But through my recent personal struggles, God has shown me some of the deeper meanings in this book. For instance:
1. The key issue at stake in Job is not suffering or Satan but RIGHTEOUSNESS. How can someone be right before God? This is the ground where the book of Job is based.

Suffering now for sake of the beginning of the redemption of Satan IS righteousness ! God's plan necessitates mankind's suffering as Satan's plan FAILS and he iis thus not believed in by sinners any more ... almost all men remain sinners until DEATH, they do not become saints in THIS life, do noyt stop believing Satan, do not take up the truth given by Jesus [so jesus is not the Lord of sinners, but he did come to save sinners by fisrt saving a royal priesthood to minister to all men and rule in His kingdom in the new earth]

2. God choses this ground - "Have you considered my servant Job? He is a righteous man"

Blessed is the man whom God will not impute sin ... that will not even seem just to most men until the end... but men fall over themselves trying to prove that they will be FIRST saved , when God has said from the beginning who will be the first few firstfruits of baptism of His spirit

The story of sinners in their way of life is about winners and losers, but God's story is about winners who do not win and losers who do not lose... men adapt even the scripture to support their traditions of winners even to their false religion invented by sinners... God guarantees that MOST men will believe it in this earth! {Rev 13:3-7}

3. We read in the first few chapters how Satan attacks Job, but his attack extends much further - through the attacks of Job's friends. These well-meaning people became the prime instrument through which Job's righteousness was attacked.

In the end of Satn's power, just before Jesus returns, the whole world will be against just two thousand sainst left holding to God's actual truth... the might of the power of world religion against the truth of God ..

4. Job's friends fail because they open their mouths without first asking God to inspire them. This is challenged by the young man who waits for the senior men to speak first. This young man speaks by the spirit of God.

God WILL NOT baptise all men in THIS world, all men are nOT led into all truth before death... we KNOW this, but men do not believe ON this ,because eyes are not open :-

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:

The fact that mOST emn die without knowing alltruth SHOWS that MOST emn are NOT bapotised of the spirit in this world !

5. I notice how God himself keep silent until after everyone else has had their say. It is as if he were there all the time, yet he places himself below them - truly he is gracious.

Is the unmerited forgiveness [grace] to a FEW saints in this life JUST? ... MOST men do not think so, and wil gnash their teeth when Jesus returns to take only the few God ahs given him to be his royal priesthood , men cannot even now accept being SECOND fruits of the spirit, yet MOST men will be saved AFTERWARD -Rev 7:9-10 , men of ALL nations who held all manner of beliefs in this world...!! [as indeedchrsitianity is DIVIDED into tens of thousands of sinner-made belief systems , and we know ther is but ONE truth of God, and that revealed in scripture, not by sinners...]

6. When he speaks, God does not give direct answers, but questions Job's (and our) ability to comprehend. He shows how great God is compared to us. He also indicates that he does fully understand.

God does give some very direct answers in scripture, but almost all men cannot hear Him at this time ... thus much of the teaching is given in parables because God requires that most men cannot understand Him for now , until His kingdom is ready in the new earth for the redemption of the masses of all nations

7. Our part is to trust God. Not a blind, unquestioning trust, but a robust faith. A faith that knows that God is completely trustworthy; all these things that trouble us are safe in his hands.

One can profess faith in love, because one admires love, yet one does in fact not have faith in it until one perfects it [is not any more distracted to sin by temptations] ... thus in fact only the few saints ahve true faith, and that faith is GIVEN, it is NOT a matter of saying one believes in Jesus, but of being ABLE to stop sinning and become perfected in love, without further sin IN THIS LIFE ...

Most men simply cannot do this because God will NOT baptise all men NOW ... thus men have devised religions of his own that allow men to be saved in thsi world whilst still being sinful ... wishful thinking, but inevitable and NECESSARY to God's plan ...

There is a lot in Job that you did not see yet, perhaps that is inevitable too... for myself I do not even understand why God gives sinners any of His truth yet....
