My favorite study Bible is The Life Application Study Bible.

This is a bit off-topic but I would like to recommend Robert Murray M'Cheyne's daily Bible reading calendar.

You go through the Old Testament once, New Testament twice, and Psalms twice every year. I've done it for 14 years and it's been a great blessing for my life.

Most of the Bibles from TBS has M'Cheyne's reading plan...the Westminster does!

I love the Bibles from Local Church Bible Publishers. Going to order that thumb indexed Bible very soon.

Please post your thoughts about the Bible once you get it. I've been interested in the LCBP Bibles but just never pulled the trigger.

Please post your thoughts about the Bible once you get it. I've been interested in the LCBP Bibles but just never pulled the trigger.

I love their Bibles, all very high quality. I have the Executive Calfskin Bible with the Schofield notes; I made a mistake buying Scofield Bible because it is Dispy, but that's why I am going to buy another Bible from them. lol

What I like is that LCBP charge only for the cost of making their Bibles, they don't charge for profit. You won't find a higher quality Bible for what you pay for it at LCBP. I paid 50 bucks, shipping included for the last Bible I bought from them.

See this thread: Which paper Study Bible? - Logos Bible Software Forums ... for discussion about Study Bibles, it's mostly about ESV and the 1995 NASU:
Would you recommend this kind of Bible for daily use or indeph study?

Thanks Unix for the links.

A. W. Pink,

“The Bible is to be his sole text-book, and from its living waters he is to drink deeply and daily. Personally, we use nothing else than the English Authorized Version and Young’s concordance, with an occasional reference to the Greek Interlinear and the American Revised Version. Commentaries we consult only after we have made a first-hand and exhaustive study of a passage.”
