CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like "The Open Bible New American Standard" although it is not specifically Holiness in nature.

I got mine too. I still prefer my Experiencing God Study Bible [like the NIV study bible but with the Calvinisms replaced by Wesleyanisms]. But, since I am taking theology classes in which Wesley's sermons are constantly being referenced it will be handy to use this new bible to refer to the passages & sermons together.

I really like the insight on Wesley's sermons that are interspersed with the study comments. And it's done in such a way that makes sense without making my head hurt. That's a plus!

I haven't been on here for a while, but I see people have been getting the new Wesley Study Bible. Got mine too - it is awesome!! It is a great combination of scholarly notes that reference Wesley's original works, and devotional life application notes. It is like the best of the entire Methodist/Nazarene/Wesleyan world rolled into one study/devotional Bible.
