Strange service

So I went to this church service and the Holy Spirit hit me without any Pastors praying for me when I went up for prayer ie Spirit of God flat out just hit me (use to it happening so yeah...) Anyway, the preachers tried to come up and push me down after the fact and I wouldn't go down. Then he got an attitude... Kinda crazy. Like you just saw the Spirit of God fall on me without you doing anything and then you're going to try and put yourself in it. This is why I have a hard time finding a church to go to. I'm familiar with what the Spirit of God feels like on me and I come across a lot of preachers trying to force their flesh on people. Everytime I've ever had the Spirit fall on me its been without a human being trying to force anything. I want the rest of the Spiritual gifts to happen for me like the Spirit just falls on me, but I feel like it might be easier to receive while admist the church, but like I said most of the churches I've been to seem off/corrupt because man is involved. So not sure how to get to that place with God if I can't trust people.

yeah I've had ministers try to shove me over. One lad jabbed her finger so hard into my chest I had no choice. It's abusive really. Pastors need to let Jesus dance with His bride and not interfere or attempt to take any glory. Like you, the Spirit ministers to me Himself. It's always been this way. I do not like people touching me. You don't have to go forward for the Spirit to minister to you btw, just stay in your seat and let Him do His thing perhaps. That way you can still enjoy some form of corporateness and corporate worship.

I hate that! And I don't get it: What is the point for the preacher?

I sure hope there are some non-manipulative churches were you live! If not, you will have to start one
