There is a pattern of jumping to conclusions and finding someone to try to belittle on the lightest weight of evidence, isnt there?
I keep wondering when AVET will start applying the same rigor to creationism that he tries to apply to science. I won't hold my breathe, though, since Special Pleading is a cornerstone of creationism.

People were shocked to find the fish with “hands” – and now scientists are even more shocked to find a fish that happens to be a skilled rock climber. It would seem the march of evolution is indeed inexorable. Lithogenes wahari is a type of catfish with specialized pelvic fins that act as gripping “hands” to climb rocks, walls and other terrain. The fish is incredibly rare and the most recent sighting occurred after twenty years of research. There are actually a number of so-called walking fish although not all are true fish.http://digitallibrary.amnh.org/dspace/handle/2246/5946

This one is great.

Evolutionists, what time was this picture taken? It must be a magic moment in Devonian.
So, why not in Cretaceous?

It was taken right before it walked onto the ark two by twosy (or seven by sevensy, depending which verse you read in Genesis)! They used a Canon 5.0MP.

Weird question.

Mudskippers can be photographed any time you care to go to Australia, didnt you know that?

Its "the" Devonian or "the" Cretaceous, btw. In English we use articles.

I bet nobody in this pen of clowns is able to face my question seriously.

What a forum of science!

Some of us here actually do have some education and will be glad to explain things to you; the problem is not with us.

Its no use to blame the audience for laughing when you ask a bizarre question in broken English.

Face it seriously that your question makes no sense whatever.

Take a deep breath, consult your Strunk and White, and try to ask a question that does make sense.

You are worse than you were one year ago, after you took some more college level courses.
A minor evidence on the failure of American education.

Oh, now that we've had our fun, could you please ask your question in a different way?

Seriously, i cant make sense of it as written, and neither can anyone else.

Im sure you have something in mind, and i would like to give it a go.

Was the idea all along to ask an question that nobody could figure out what it means to be able to answer so you could declare "victory"... "I bet nobody in this pen of clowns is able to face my question seriously."?

We will see if that 'victory' was the idea all along by whether you will rephrase the question so that it makes sense.

I think he's trying to make the point that this animal looks like one from one of those periods mentioned...and that because such an animal exists today, it should call into question evolution, because this "transitional form" still exists....which also calls into question the claim that the earth has been around for hundreds of millions of years, since such animals aren't extinct.

Not that I agree with it, but I think that's what he's trying to get at.

Mudskippers are not fishapods. First of all, they are Ray Fins, not Lobe fins Like the fishapods of the Devonian were. Secondly, they do not have hands with fingers, nor elbows, nor do they have a true neck.

Here are examples of fishapods from the Devonian, and they are not found anywhere today:

^ putting "Bozo responds" in your title wasn't necessary.

Well, since Juvie considers us all to be a "pen of clowns " I thought I would identify myself with one of the most beloved clowns in recent history... Bozo. I'm not sure why that would offend you.....

maybe it is, I honestly dont know. It could be. I know he rejects evolution and considers himself a geologist.

I hope he will come back and rephrase it so that it is possible to answer.

As it is, the answer is that we dont know what time it was when the photo was taken, maybe the photographer remembers.

Why not in the Devonian or Cretaceous? No photographers then.
And no mudskippers.

That's true...Juvie was way out of line with that comment. If he's reading this, what he did was just as wrong.

But no comment on him talking about a bunch of clowns?
I guess because that comment wasn't aimed at anyone specific, so it was less personal. But you're absolutely right, he was completely out of line, and is even more wrong for being the one that started this.

Honestly, tho, if a person wants to pose as having the highest possible degree of education and a professor of geology, but cant seem to figure out how to correctly name geological periods, its awful tempting to at least point out that the act is not holding together.

Name calling is still a very juvenile response.
