I agree, it is nice. But some of us also like discussing deeper issues. Which shouldn't be a problem, but becomes one when people can't speak nicely to one another.

But I thought by the "liberal/conservative argument" longhair meant the constant accusations of being too liberal or too conservative or whatever. That's boring.

I agree, it's good to be able to discuss deeper issues. If that is a concern for you, then I would encourage you to try to give the forum some ideas and guidance on how to engage in dialogue you would find relevant.
