One of my RCIA students this year was raised a Muslim, but never really was a Muslim. Anyway, he has been visited in dreams (something I often hear happening to Muslim converts) and has had some pretty interesting events happen which have helped him in his conversion to Christianity and specifically to the Catholic Church.
Today is of course the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, and he was telling me at Mass about the latest thing that happened to him. This morning he got up in his dark room and there was only a sliver of light coming into the room from his window. He walked over towards his uniform to get it without turning on the lights (his wife was still asleep). As he approached his uniform he noticed that the light had formed a Rosary pattern around the neck of the uniform!
We were laughing at all the things that keep happening because God is being very obvious and persistent. The student is reading Catholic material voraciously and attending Mass, etc. His name is 'Casper' so I'd appreciate any prayers for his continued journey.
