hey! um.......just recently i've made the decision not to self-harm any more, and i really need some prayers for strength and stuff. also, my relationship with God has suffered coz of all this. yeah, thats about all

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Fish-eyes, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Trust me, the self-harm stuff isn't worth it. A few short years ago, I was very depressed and tried some of that. Its not worth it. So I will pray that God will give you the strength to overcome all that you need to. Good luck and God bless.

Hi fish-eyes. I will pray for you. The Lord loves you and does not want you to harm yourself. Thank you for making that decision to stop the harm. Fish-eyes, many things that we think about, that are bad things, are not from us. Many of them are from the devil. His pupose is to trick us into sin, to be blind to the Word of God. Don't let him win! Fight for your life fish-eyes. He doesn't want us succeed in Faith in our Father. Don't let the material world tempt you from the path of Righteousness. Don't let the sad thoughts overcome you, because God is here, and he is looking at you. He made you just the way you are, in His image, and he loves you more than anyone, and more than you know. Don't allow yourself to think about sad things. There will be tommorrow with the sun and the birds. Be happy that you are alive and see the beauty around you. Only if I were there with you, I would give you a big huge to comfort you. Join me, and walk with God, because there are also other people who are going throught the same situations. Sometimes it is too late for them. Read the Word, the Bible, and sing some songs to uplift your spirit. Ask the Lord to forgive your sins, and you must forgive others too. Email me when you need someone to talk to. I will be praying.
