DOH! Oh well. A stereogram is one of those pictures of seemingly random patterns that you stare at until you see a 3d image. Like this:

LOL oh!!!!! :D

Hey Im really good at those...it only takes me like 3 secs to get an image... i think its cos i tend to zone out alot so im so used to obligatory zoning as well, which makes it easier to get an image. But heyy...i love stereograms!!!! Whoever invented them must be a genius or something. how Do they work?

Yeah, same here. I only figured out how to do 'em yesterday after about 4 years! They are computer generated images that you make from 2 separate ones I think. Can you see the stereogram within the stereogram in the above picture? I.e. see another 3d image within that image?

Ooh, I love those. (Look for dolphins in the linked one -- once I realized what it was supposed to be, I saw them a lot more easily.) Anyone else remember when they were quite popular back in the early 90s?

Also, can anyone else see them both the regular way and the inverted way? (The regular way is when your eyes diverge, but if you cross your eyes, you can see them inverted, I believe. Could be wrong on that though! At any rate, here's a few more for practice.)

I thought crossing your eyes was the normal way? can you make your eyes go in different directions?

I see the dolphins and the "Jesus loves You":D

I met a guy once who thought it was a sin to look at those pictures:eek:. I laughed and asked why. He said that it is wrong to hypnotize yourself and he thought it was some kind of "spirit" or something that was opening your eyes to something hidden:eek:. It ried to explain the concept to him, that it's just a muscle thing you do with your eyes. He didn't buy it...
