Here is a simplified "step-by-step" outline of the coming 7 year 70th week.

1. day 1 confirmation of the covenant by "the Antichrist" - 7 years begin.

2. 3 years later - the ToD (transgression of desolation) act by the Antichrist (end of the false messianic age).

3. Hostilities break out and "the revealed man of sin" is assassinated.

4. Returns to life, and becomes "the beast".

5. AoD (abomination of desolation) statue image made of the beast, placed on the temple mount, the great tribulation begins on day 1185 of the 7 years. 1335 days before Jesus returns.

6(66). events of the great tribulation.

7. Jesus returns to end the great tribulation.

It is not a peace treaty at all.

When Daniel made his prayer of confession that his people had transgressed the covenant in the opening verses of Daniel 9, he was referring to the Mt. Sinai covenant.

The confirmation of the covenant in Daniel 9:27 is referring to the Mt. Sinai covenant that the Jews (Judaism) still hold to as their basis for their relationship with God.

In Deuteronomy 31:9-13, Moses made a requirement to all future leaders of Israel - to confirm (the word is not in the text, but it is essentially what he meant) the Mt. Sinai covenant on a 7 year cycle - which is in the text.

The method, Moses instructed to follow, was to have the law read to the nation of Israel. And with this one other critical condition - "from the place of God's choosing".

The Jews (Judaism) who have had many discussions regarding this topic, inform me the place of God's choosing is considered to be the temple mount.

So how is it all going to transpire ?

Following Gog/Magog, the Jews will think that the prince who shall come (from the EU, north and west of Israel) is their long hoped-for messiah - promised King of Israel, descended from King David.

The false prophet anoints him as King of Israel - that act is what officially makes the person the Antichrist.

As the Antichrist, King of Israel, coming in his own name, he will oversee the reading of the law from the temple mount - probably read by the false prophet standing at his side. It will be a worldwide televised event of major proportions.

That event is "confirmation of the covenant" for 7 years. It begins the 70th week of Daniel 9.

It will be a man. The seven heads on the beast out of the sea in Revelation 13 are 7 kings (from Revelation 17:10). King 7 yet to come in Revelation 17:10 will be the little horn person.

As he goes through his stages - as first the little horn, then the prince who shall come, then as the Antichrist, then as the revealed man of sin - it is then that as the revealed man of sin that he will be killed, assassinated.

Shortly after his being assassinated, at his worldwide televised funeral, he will come back to life - appearing to have overcome death.

and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

They are required to see to it that it is done. Not that they themselves have to read the law to the nation. Of course, they would have to be present for the event.

The reason it has not been done in recent memory is because of the muslim presence on the temple mount. And since the confirmation of the Mt. Sinai covenant basically proclaims is that God gave the land of Israel to the children of Israel as theirs forever.

Such an event on the temple mount would almost assuredly spark a war with the muslim nations, which is the reason it has not been done in modern times. And the Jews are probably waiting for their messiah before any attempt is made.

As Daniel 9:27 says: many will agree to that peace treaty. They are mentioned in Daniel 11:32 and they will be the ones who must stay in Jerusalem, in the holy Land, when the AC conquers them, Zechariah 14:4, Revelation 12:17

Isaiah 28:14-15 says nothing about a 7-year treaty.

What I think Isaiah 28:14-15 is referring to is that Israel back in Isaiah's day made a pact with Egypt for protection. It did not work as the Assyrians conquered the northern kingdom and later the Babylonians conquered the southern kingdom.

For family and friends, Church and mainly personal reasons you cannot renounce the rapture belief.
It will be tough for all who expect to be outta here before the disaster strikes and their fond expectation doesn't happen.

The ten leaders will become apparent at the time it becomes clear who the little horn person is.

Isaiah 28:16 is about Jesus, the Lord come in the flesh. Who Israel should put their trust in the future - instead of being hasty to making pacts with other nations for protection. The leaders of Israel had acted in haste to their situation by putting their trust in Egypt.

Isaiah 28:16 is presented as future of Isaiah's time, what God was going to do.

16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

Jesus became the cornerstone who the builders refused, Psalms 118:22. Jesus is the cornerstone of our faith.

The seven years of Daniel 9:27 begin with the Antichrist..... then the two events of the transgression of desolation and the abomination of desolation.... ends with Jesus's return.

no I’m not … I see clearly the rapture to heaven …it is the blind that can’t see the gospel and are drunken into a deep sleep by the old covenant and it’s prophecies.. the old wine makes one drunk and intoxicated and asleep to the gospel of Christ

If you are referring to the book of Daniel 9 .... it's referring to the Messiah the prince (Jesus) not the anti-christ.

Part of Daniel 9 certainly is talking about the Jesus.

The 7 years of Daniel 9:27 includes the 2300 days time of the end vision about the little horn person.
