Starting a Business

Hey all, I just wanted to reach out for prayer and a bit of PR. I am starting a clothing line. It is called Modern Angler. Its a line for fisherman across the globe. My goal is the be the next Oakley, but for fishing; fresh unique designs and graphics, plus plans for unique gear later down the road. All a faith based business. I want to be at a point where I am giving back a lot.

This economy is blah, and I am a part of the trending 20-30 somethings who are stuck in part time work for crappy pay (thankfully I have no student debt). God had put this dream on my heart since 2009 when I was in my dorm room. Now its time to get it going. I want to better my situation in this economy by doing my own thing, and finding a way to change the game a bit. I strongly feel like if enough folks start doing something they dream about, we can make an impact in the economy and change the way business is done, because whatever is going on right now...simply ain't working. Its time to start doing something else. /endrant
