Started my novel

I started my novel for the November novel writing thing we all said we'd do.

I've got 10,000 words so far, out of the 50,000 we're supposed to have.

How's everyone else doing with their novel?

I don't have a title yet, though...

i thought we weren't supposed to start writng until november. at least that what i read in the rules on that site.

Awesome! I'm doing mine with the site, so won't be starting till November. I've been doing prewriting type stuff though. I have most of the plot roughly mapped out, and I did character sketches for the first few characters. I've had a lot of work to do for the last week and a half, but this weekend I'll probably do some more sketches and mebbe put some more details into the plot.

Okay, I'll scrap that one and start over. It wasn't that good anyway. I can do better.

I have my idea and I ran it over with one of my friends last night hitting all of the major plot points and he loved it, but I doubt I'll write it all in one month with College and what not.

yeah, that's understood. that's one reason i'm not doing it. i'm trying to get through my first year of college.

I'm still doing it, but I'll aim for 50,000 words and not a complete novel...yet.
